I wanted to find the best solution to get rid of some damaged clothing. The Earth911 site said the local curbside recycling accepts clothing. The recycles web site say "put in garbage cart". Earth911 is worse than useless if you give bad info.

This place is useless. The only purpose seems to be to pelter me with Google ads. If you get connected to an Expert, they want a "fully refundable $1" along with your credit card and personal information. Really? I wanted info on recycling old clothes and a place nearby that would accept them. No luck talking to them.

they are supposed to list locations that take CFL's (fluorescent bulbs) to recycle. The site fills the window with ads, and then lists a bunch of firms that don't actually recycle CFL's. I called a few, and they explained that they just throw the bulbs in the trash. What kind of site is this???? It seems to be a site that just reads your cookies in order to pitch ads. Don't bother.
