My experience with Pillar Prep was fantastic and really helped structure my studying. I worked with Pillar Prep during my second time studying for the MCAT and went from a 500 to a 509. Try tutor provided me a weekly plan and walked me through topics I struggled with and practice questions. Additionally, going over each practice exam was extremely helpful. After I finished my exam I also got some additional support in my application. I have been accepted to two MD programs and thank Pillar Prep for their help!!

When you want to get better at something, and you don’t know how, you need a coach. That is exactly what Pillar Prep’s tutoring service gave to me: an experienced coach that has helped hundreds of individuals before me. I knew I had the knowledge of the material tested on the MCAT because of the first time, but I still did not know how to take the MCAT. Sean and his team of tutors helped me analyze my weaknesses and build a strong foundation that allowed me to excel to the next level. I went from knowing the material, to being able to predict the questions that each MCAT passage would ask. This took time and effort. I stuck to the rigorous "training" schedule to make sure that I was giving it my best effort. I came to each tutoring session prepared with questions and passages and so did Sean and his team of tutors. I firmly believe that Sean and his team of tutors are the best bang for your buck. I would highly recommend Pillar Prep to anyone planning to take the MCAT. Studying for the MCAT is a beast, and I had no idea where to start. Sean and all of his wonderful tutors helped me craft a plan and a schedule so that I could accomplish all of the studying needed in 13 weeks. All of the tutors at Pillar Prep have scored very high in the sections that they tutor, so you know that you are getting quality help. I took this course (The MCAT "Retaker" Course) the first time I was planning on attempting the MCAT, and I ended up scoring 9 points higher on the actual test than on the first practice exam 6 weeks before that. I scored in the 75th percentile. One of the best things about this course is the access that you get to talk to tutors on Facebook Messenger. This helped me understand numerous practice questions and concepts that I otherwise would have never understood. I also utilized the live tutoring sessions that Pillar Prep offers in the two weeks leading up to my actual exam. These sessions were also very helpful, as my tutor helped me with last minute concepts and talked me through test day. I also really liked that the course covered all of the high and medium-yield topics in video lecture form rather than in textbook form. This really helped me digest the information. My tutor from the live sessions emailed me the night before my test wishing me luck, and he emailed me when my scores released to ask me how I did. The people at Pillar Prep truly care about you as an individual, and that is really rare for an MCAT prep course. I still talk to Sean to this day to get advice on various topics. I would recommend this company and one of their courses to anyone.

I was lacking some serious organization of my study plan before I contacted Sean. My test was 5 months away, I was through 1/3 of the study material with no firm grasp on any of the concepts. Sean linked me up with Tommy and together we put together an intense study plan that ended in me taking 14 practice full lengths and thousands of test prep questions. Tommy was the most supportive and enthusiastic teammate, he believed in me and forced me to believe in myself. My goal was a 518 and I walked away with a 520! This program WORKS. I promise you, if you put in the work and get the most out of your time with your tutor, you WILL DO WELL. 100000/10 recommend.

After studying 3 months for the MCAT and taking 10 practice tests, I did not receive nearly as close to the score as I would've liked. I got in contact with Sean who was more than happy to give me an incredible study plan. He helped me find the strengths and weaknesses in my study plan and gave me some great ideas moving forward. The MCAT is the most arduous, convoluted, lengthy, and seemingly sometimes illogical test that any person can take. Even undertaking how to start studying is overwhelmingly daunting. Sean Studies makes this seemingly impossible test, simple. It wasn't just about the help with the content review, my tutor spoke with me and understood me as a person. He knew how to motivate me and helped me deal with the massive stress of taking the most important test in a premed's career. I cannot recommend Sean Studies enough to those who want to improve their MCAT score or are taking it for the first time. I ended up scoring 22 points higher than my diagnostic, so if you are looking for similar improvements, consider Sean Studies.

Having used multiple MCAT prep companies to prepare for my two MCATs, I can without a doubt say that Sean Studies and their team are the reason I was able to improve my score from a 503 to a 516. Through the individualized tutoring sessions and the fully customized study plan, I was able to improve my scores across the board, all the while maintaining a minimal level of stress due to the support and encouragement of the team.
