People have wondered whether Screenrant articles are written by AI. The fact that it is not possible to tell either way is telling. But whether written by a soulless machine or a soulless person, the end result is clickbait articles with deceptive titles and virtually zero worthwhile content.

It’s very obvious that Screen Rant writers are required to make ridiculous amounts of “content” which get as many clicks as possible and it REALLY shows. No quality or substance to anything. Everything has a weirdly negative tone and is likewise hyper sensational in both viewpoint and in the language used. Everything is over exaggerated to the point of misapplying vocabulary…a…lot… At the same time there’s no voice or passion. The writers are using sensationalist language and flaunting click-bait “hot takes,” but very clearly don’t actually care at all about what they’re writing about. In most instances they don’t have even a fundamental understanding of the subject matter. Again…to the point of being worse than…an AI written article? There’s rarely an ounce of joy in articles exclusively about ENTERTAINMENT. In nearly every article they completely make things up and contradict themselves. The intentional critical+willful+ignorance+clicks=money formula which Screen Rant uses has strong Tucker Carlson talking about Zelda vibes. It’s like someone is making a perfect antithesis of Polygon as a weird gaslighting art project. One hundred and one thumbs down. I feel bad for these writers as there’s no way this work environment isn’t unnecessarily stressful and soul-numbingly non-fun.

Everything on their site in the last few years is clickbait. They were good back in the early 2000s but times change and they thought they needed to compete with sites like Buzzfeed but are failing miserably.

I'm tired of articles showing up in my news feed just to read them and see how many people are making things up. The people who write for them don't seem to fact-check the things they're talking about and it just comes off as nonsense and falsehoods.

Hold jer til film. Forfærdelig artikel, uden andet end ligegyldig tekst. Anbefaler dem ikke! RottenTomatoes for film-anmeldelser.
