Amazing program! Hard to find time at the end. The lessons were amazing and well paced until that final assignment. It was a bit too much for me in one lesson to pick up and create the final piece in the timeline, while balancing a full time job that includes a lot of OT and a family life. Would have been nice if the final was paced similarly to the other assignments. Otherwise, amazing platform to learn and the feedback/lessons reviewing was great and super helpful!!!

I have been learning with School of Motion for 5 years now and can say that by far there is no program out there that comes close to it. The fact that you get feedback on your course work is unique, the courses are intense and I always end up learning how to improve my work. The only things not great right now are some technical glitches with “the square” - School of Motion’s online community - which I hope will be improved in the future and what felt a bit lacking this time was that students didn’t feedback each other. As far as the course goes and the feedback I got I am learning a lot. Thanks for that.

Awesome and engaging training. Really improves your skills. Great practical homework and examples. Only wish there was enough time to complete the course and gain the support needed in the time given.

Aspiring motion graphics artists and animators can happily think about ditching university for learning what they need to know in a fraction of the time with QUALITY, PROVEN TRACK RECORD teachers at School Of Motion. I have a BA in Screenwriting & an MA in Cinematography & neither taught me much at ALL. Frustrated with job rejections & my education not having clue what employers want & more worried about essays (that employers do NOT read, unemployment and dissatisfaction had me look elsewhere in the creative space). After my 1st course in SoM I felt immediately enriched, the teacher's personality couldn't be better. The platform is incredible, where you can also learn and get inspired from looking at your classmates submissions. The deadlines and attention to detail is unrivalled. I happily went and paid for another and can CLEARLY see the difference as opposed to where I was just over 6 months ago. The only down side is there's no LIVE screen share support when the technical stuff crops up. IF they fixed this, NO ONE would be able to compete with them. Fingers crossed!

The course was great! I learned a lot and I found myself spending many hours on the assignments but actually quite enjoyed working on them. I admit, I was dreading the back-to-back weeks of multiple deadlines, but as I said, the work was enjoyable. I very much appreciated the course supplying me with project assets and concepts, allowing me to focus on the animation aspect of the course and not 'wasting time' on file setup/creating/drawing assets. The homework feedback was constructive and helpful. I appreciate the positive attitude and expertise. I would like to think that with some practice, the manual tweaking techniques will become less time-consuming, but the final minute-long project proved to be a huge endeavor with constant tweaking. Personally speaking, I see now why people use After Effects shortcut scripts. That being said, the teaching will give your work a wonderfully natural animation 'feel' Finally, the teaching videos are great! Very clear and thorough. The extra optional essentials videos were great for people starting from scratch, and I took lots of useful notes throughout. Thank you, School of Motion!

I enjoyed the overall format of the class. I loved my TA (Sherene). The best lesson is the Oddles of Tools. I feel like that is what I paid a lot of money to get. The projects weren't captivating to me, like things I won't add to my portfolio but I guess I am glad I learned to do.

Thank you for the easy to follow lessons-- so much easier than youtube tutorials. I like the deadline too because it motivates me to actually get work done. Would like more catch up weeks and sometimes the vfx course had technical difficulties because the updates in after effects made me looking for the alternative methods in the newer software (for example for tracking it was a different process, the method in the course video didn't work for the updated after effects). Thank you for the scholarship, please have an extended version for vfx, I couldn't finish 70% (due to personal things too) and would like credentials. Very good course. Kickstarter, Animation Bootcamp, and Illustration were all great as well.
