This is a great quality online class. If you are serious about learning animation and you are able to commit, then enroll! I took After Effects Kickstart and from knowing zero about the program, I finished feeling confident about doing my own animations. Definitely packed with content (lessons, podcasts, other resources) so be ready to invest at least 6 hrs a week. You can go at your own pace, but I recommend staying on track to take advantage of the TAs feedback.

Best online course (after effects kick starter) I’ve ever done! So informative and worth every penny!

This is the best course about After Effects expressions money can buy on the internet. I've taken other SoM courses and they're all the same, extremes high value. If you can afford them, they completely deliver not just through the 2-3hrs of video instruction from an industry leader, but also exclusive podcasts, extra PDFs crammed with info, and real feedback from professionals on homework assignments. This was my third SoM course and definitely not my last.

Learning was very good. But the most important part SOM take care of their students after the studies as well by providing them Alumni group and community critique, I knew if I stuck during my learning, there is someone who can put me on track again, this is what I felt, being a mother of young kids its hard to studies and learn but SOM is best with studies, inspiration, support, I cant think how handy is everything now.

Excellent experience. Clear thorough lessons, interesting teachers and industry information with homework that tested our new knowledge and gave us some creative freedom too. Hopefully returning to learn the next stage

After poking around on After Effects for months at work, getting projects completed, but not really understanding how the software worked and how to utilize it properly I decided to jump into the Kickstarter class. Now I feel much more confident heading into projects, knowing my workflow will make sense for handoff, and putting together much cleaner work. Great class.

So very highly recommended, from the content to the instructors. I am a complete newbie, and got so much out of it while feeling challenged and stretched, but not to a point of feeling in over my head.

amazing loved it!
