I worked in the retail creative field for 28 years. I created branding campaigns including creative concepts, logos, print and digital ad design, television commercials and videos. One area I have always been envious of was motion graphics. Such a powerfully creative and expressive medium. I could never get far in self-learning After Effects. Honestly, it felt a bit intimidating for me, even though I am pretty well versed in the Adobe Suite of creative tools. I took School of Motion's After Effects Kickstart hoping to get some basic working knowledge of the software but got so much more. After taking the class I can competently create motion graphics, but also, I have a strong base knowledge so I can quickly and continually learn more. I will say the course is very vigorous and takes real dedication and attention to get it done, but it is well worth it in my opinion!

Quite intense, a ton a material to work your way through and a shocking number of hours put it, this course was exactly what it should be. Great learning experience, great TA experience and if you put the time in, you definitely walk away with a ton of knowledge.

Great as always! School of Motion has an amazing approach to teaching. Classes, homework, the TAs and additional content are great. If you are on the fence about it, just go for it. You won't regret it
