The curriculum is really well thought out and great for getting students to learn to really master After Effects. I learned more than I ever imagined I would in this course!

This was a wonderful class. I learned so much that will help me in all areas of animation. Having creative projects that hundreds of people work on bringing their own unique process to opens a world of creativity. You can watch youtube videos and get great ideas, but when many people work on a project and construct from their own unique perspective and share their ideas, it expands creativity exponentially. Highly recommend!

I figured I would learn a lot in Animation Bootcamp, but wow! I feel so glad I finally took the plunge and enrolled in a class with SOM. Thank you to Joey and to all the TA's. I can't wait for the next course (just have to figure out how to pick from so many great options!).

A must do for anyone interested in learning how to use After Effects. I am a Video Editor who has been trying to really master AE over the course of my career, and the lessons I learned in this 8 weeks have been vital and I've seen a marked improvement in my skills already. This is the only course I've seen where it actually teaches you after effects- not a specific tutorial that you will dump from your memory once you've made what you needed, but ACTUAL FOUNDATION. I've been using AE on and off for 10 years, and have always felt anxious around the program, but this course has given me a footing that I now feel comfortable to really embrace this program to the fullest. Seriously, I wish I had taken this course years ago. The amount of content you get with SoM makes me feel like I'm back in college- and it's worth every penny to learn how to use AE, with bonus content, project critiques, and history of the medium. I've recommended SOM to several of my colleagues who are interested in boosting their AE skills!

I was so glad that I signed up. The lessons were rigorous and challenging. I plan to study them in greater depth to continue to improve my skills and hope to sign up for another course in the near future.

Well done and complete instructions every week. Be prepared for a lot of fun work ahead. You get what you put into this program. Be sure to post all your progress and ask your TA's and fellow students lots of questions.

Very good and intensive course. I learned a lot.

Really great class—a lot of hard work but worth it.
