I joined the school in 2019 and attend regularly. I've found meditating in a group to be transformative. There's a great sense of community and the opportunity to join a weekly group with meditation, readings and simple exercises (e.g. listening and looking without judgment), which I have found invaluable. The technique used is to learn an internal or silent mantra. The school also runs wonderful day retreats featuring mindful activities such as walking, gardening and drawing, as well as Qi Gong.

The school has been running for 60 years, and is a wonderful organisation. It is a charity whose mission is simply to teach and support anyone who wishes to learn meditation, and/or establish a regular practice. As a member for over 12 years it has been a huge support to me. Unlike some of the other private commercial organisations who offer meditation teaching for large sums of money, the school is both affordable and approachable. Highly recommended.

Since joining the school in 2011 I have found good company and support with continuing meditation practice. I love being in a group that meets regularly both at the premises and (in times of covid-19 on zoom). They are a fantastic organisation with the main focus on the practical aspects of Meditation and I will be a member for life.
