Did Not Go Very Well
When you pay $2,800 (plus) for a dog, you expect to get a healthy dog. Unfortunately, we did not get a healthy dog. Our puppy has a neurological condition that is either a birth injury or a genetic defect. Our contact with the breeder was disappointing. We love the puppy, but we paid alot of money to get her, and now we are facing years of ongoing hardship and medical bills that would not have happened had we chosen a different breeder. If I had wanted to rescue a special needs dog, I could have gotten one for about $300. Instead, we now have a $3,000 dollar special needs dog.
