Absolutely unacceptable
Absolutely unacceptable. The Web UI is sleek, but if anything goes wrong, you have no support. There are no phone numbers on the site, all the support FAQ answers are vague, and oddly enough everything seems to have been posted (at the time of this writing) 5 months ago by someone named "Chelsea" who has a photo but no contact info or site linked to begin any communication. This company is apparently based in England (based on 2 phone numbers I had Gemini dig up), and both numbers are not in service. Some context: my issue is I 100% completed my application according to VERO, but whatever automation they have, or is triggered by the property manager using VERO, said I still needed to upload paystubs. Mind you, this is AFTER I connected my work account (for payment history) AND my bank account (also I presume for payment/income history). Trying to find the place to upload my paystubs was NOT intuitive. I tried to get help from the property manager, but I got incorrect information. On top of that, that specific property manager I was in contact with that uses VERO has YET ANOTHER intermediary, so if the place you're hoping to rent from uses VERO then you are AT LEAST ONE, IF NOT TWO OR MORE, steps removed from direct contact with anyone who could help (not that VERO does). On top of that, when I finally got direction on how to complete my application (from my sister, not anyone in charge, who had to manually input income history), the VERO site LOCKED ME OUT!!! I originally signed in with Google, but then, in my frantic search for answers, I was prompted to provide a password (which fails if you already signed in with Google), so I reset my password...NOW THE SITE ONLY HAS AN OPTION TO 'SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE' !!!!! I recommend turning away if a property manager sends you to VERO. Or, at least do not make the same mistake I did, and instead manually enter your income information
