SafeDriver.comReviews of safedriver.com

This is a money making machine. They will mail you the certificate for free, but do not guarantee it will arrive due to the unreliability of the postal service. The information is a boat load of statics and then they want you to remember it all. I would have printed the thing out if I did it again. Everything costs a little more and then at the end they ask for a tip to help keep costs low? Tip a computer program? To email costs $39 and to overnight it costs $42. Throughout the program they ask security questions - if you are busy reading and miss the drop down you get locked out if you take too long. There is not ding or alert. If you read too fast and pass the quiz they make you wait the full time per section. Maybe they are all like this, but it was very disappointing. Will never use them again.

40 extra dollars on top of citation amount is annoying

PITA. Do NOT waste your time with safedriver.com. The online test you need to lower your insurance premium costs $40, PLUS they charge you another $5 to download the certificate! On top of that, you cannot take the test at your own pace. THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THAT UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE PAID! Each section has a preset timer, so after spending 5 minutes reading the Section 1 rules of the road, you have to wait 40 MINUTES before you can start answering the questions on that section! Another section requires a wait of more than two hours! Total ripoff. This scam is designed to make you pay upfront and then aggravate you so much you don't complete the test or get the certificate. I’m going to dispute the charge to my credit card. Avoid safedriver.com for an online safe driving certificate -- unless you have an extra 8 hours to wait around before you can answer the questions to get the certificate.

This business has so many hidden charges. Do not use this, I repeat, do not. My daughter had to retake the test and I had to pay again. She failed the first test 31/40 questions and there is no way to see if she really did fail because there’s no explanation. Additionally, to get the certificate email to me, I had to pay $39. Obviously, this business is taking advantage of their customers.

After I paid for course they want 50 dollars to email the certificate. I refused and they said I’d have to verify my id by mail before completing the course and then wait for 2-4 weeks for usps. It’s a scam and they are extremely dishonest.

This was by far the worst drivers course that I could have chosen! BE WARE… THEY ARE A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS. Up charges, countless website bugs, terrible experience. Under no circumstances should you give them any money. They advertise as a 5 dollar driving course. I ended up paying 80 dollars.

Site didn't work properly and after taking a third of the course was told a program issue and I would have to start over and see if it worked. Unacceptable and made it virtually impossible to get a refund. Also, only after purchase told it was very expensive to get emailed delivery.

They are slimy. I thought I was paying $39. They after I gave my credit card totaled $79. They charged me $39.25 to email me the certificate. I am canceling the charges with my credit card company. Very sneaky and deceptive!!!! 0 star rating if that was available. Wasted my time...
