Jack was not your usual cat. He lost one eye, requiring having his eyelids on one eye sewn together. He was born with his his other eye being very cloudy, giving him very little vision. He was essentially blind, and also had very brown fur because he was malnourished. The book cover represents him perfectly in the state in which I found him, although it took about 4 tries by the illustrators to get Jack to that point. Kudos to the illustrators, and thanks from me.

I was very pleased with the cooperation and results to produce the book. Initially, I made some suggestions. The project was presented as a joint venture and it was handled that way. After reviewing the initial cover presentation, I made some suggestions. The response was that of a good listener and the resulting cover was excellent.

The fact that you have been following my debut work shows that we share the same philosophy. It makes me feel more confident about our future long-term collaboration! Being able to make a novel express what I think is the right idea, it's more important than making money!

Seeing the book video was especially a treat for me. Literally, it's a short film that lures one's imagination and realistically engages it with the novel's story. The video showed me how readers might respond to the story and how my characters, inspired by real life, might come to life in my readers' own imaginations. This professionally crafted, simple video was very well produced. The cinematography captured the throughline of my story in an engaging way that was fun to watch. I think my readers will enjoy watching it as well and that it will entice them to check out the book for themselves. They will be rewarded!

Rushmore Press has been a great help to publish my book. They are attentive to detail and are eager to make it what the author wants. They check to see if changes are satisfactory before they move to the next step. They explain the importance of each of the steps in the publishing process.

As expected. Thank you

I ordered 40 books for a book signing at a charity event and was concerned I may not receive the books on time. I emailed April Roma about my concerns and asked her to look into it. She did and got back with me that the books were shipped and should be there in time. Her help was much appreciated.

A great, helpful, process towards creating a book that truly exceeds my expectations.
