I had Allstate Roadside Assistance for about 10 years. I haven't used it for at least 6 - 7 years and so I decided to cancel it. I called the 800 number to cancel and was told that I could be given a 50% discount if I didn't cancel. I then asked if this was going to be my rate again after this next year and I was told if I called back again to cancel I would be given the discounted rate again. Basically for years Allstate has been charging me twice as much than if I had called to cancel each year. This is terrible, terrible business. And it is why I decided to cancel my coverage.

I contacted Allstate roadside assistance at 1 o’clock. It is now 541 and it is still not picked up the truck. I called the company that’s supposed to be getting the truck. I was on hold for eight minutes never answered and when I texted somebody with Allstate roadside they apologize that it was gonna be 45 minutes and I said if I was stranded on the road for five hours, that’s what y’all would do and he says well if you’re in a bad dangerous part call 911 ridiculous
