Rich's: Neglecting Animal Welfare and Consumer Safety with Caged Eggs
Rich's continues to use caged eggs in their products, raising serious concerns about animal welfare and consumer safety. Caged egg farming is notorious for subjecting hens to cramped and inhumane conditions, leading to severe stress, injury, and disease. These poor living standards not only harm the animals but also increase the risk of contamination and foodborne illnesses, such as Salmonella, which can affect consumers. By refusing to adopt cage-free practices, Rich's falls behind industry standards for ethical sourcing and compromises the well-being of both animals and customers who deserve better.
