Clever trap for advertisers
Revcontent has completely changed over the last two years, shifting from a reliable native ad platform into what now feels like a clever trap for advertisers. Having successfully tested the network a couple of years ago with a few thousand euros, yielding genuine traffic and decent CPAs, returning to the platform recently was a shocking disappointment. It is a shadow of its former self. The ad approval process has become a massive bottleneck. It took days to get perfectly compliant ads approved—creatives and copy that were accepted almost instantly by every other major native platform—requiring an exhausting amount of time and energy just to launch. Once the campaigns finally started receiving impressions, the real issue surfaced: traffic quality. While the listed publishers and domains appear legitimate on the surface, the actual incoming traffic behaves like fake, automated, or pop-under clicks. Because this issue consistently impacted every single publisher on the network, it points directly to an underlying network-level or integration-level problem. Compounding this issue is the platform's restrictive mechanics. Advertisers are left with virtually no effective way to block low-performing or fraudulent publishers, essentially forcing you to keep burning budget on fake traffic. When concerns are raised, account support deflects responsibility, blaming your target CPC or ad creatives instead of addressing the obvious quality defects. Save your budget, time, and energy. If you are looking for real native traffic and transparent operations, stick to established Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) or larger, more reliable native networks. Revcontent has turned into a complete money pit.
