This company's lower than industry standard prices is a red flag for their SERIOUS lack of PROFESSIONALISM
You know the old saying "You get what you pay for?" That saying applies to this company in a HUGE way. This company charges press release publishing fees that are WAY below the industry standard. However, unlike the larger and more expensive press release companies, this and other smaller companies has a policy prohibiting the publishing of press releases that include email addresses with FREE domains such as Gmail, Yahoo, etc. Upon submission of my press release to this company, I received an email stating the following: "ReleaseWire does not allow press releases to include emails with free domains like gmail, yahoo, etc. as part of our security policy." I then responded to the company stating that I do not have a NON-free BUSINESS email account, and that I would like a refund of my money since they can't provide the service that I paid them to provide. Days went by with no response from the company. So I filed a complaint against the company with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The company never responded to the BBB. So I filed a dispute against the company with PayPal.com, the third party payment processor that processed my payment to the company. During the dispute process, PayPal gives the customer and the company the opportunity to work things out. After once again receiving NO response from the company, I escalated my PayPal DISPUTE to a PayPal CLAIM. During the claim process, PayPal gives the business 10 days to respond to their request for information. Should the business fail to respond, PayPal AUTOMATICALLY REVERSES THE ORIGINAL TRANSACTION and refunds the customer (the business has no control over this). That is exactly what happened. The business not only failed to respond to ME, they also failed to respond to PAYPAL within the 10-day time limit frame, and PayPal subsequently REFUNDED MY MONEY! At this point, you can decide whether or not this company is worth doing business with.
