After 7 months of uploading receipts and earning points, I decided to cash in points for a $25 Amazon card. Afrer 3 days, they emailed me that they were declining my request because they reviewed receipts and there were other receipts and a keyboard visible in the uploading (and previously accepted) receipts. Not only that but they deleted all the points I tried ro redeem. Do not use this app it is fraudulent and scams you to steal your information.

My account was deactivated on me and am still waiting for an answer as to why! I never got a notice or warning. I still dont know why! I had alot of money saved in that account. I think this is a horrible way to do business :{

If I could put no stars, I would I’ve had my account with them for over two years. I was redeeming a five dollar gift card and suddenly they said that they had to delete my account and I was not getting my five dollars and that the receipts I took had distracting backgrounds whatever that means and yeah so zero stars 000 and no, I do not recommend them at all.

I never had a problem getting my rewards up until a month ago. The deactivated my account, they have ignored numerous attempts to find out what the problem is. This is not right, and I want the funds that I have built up but again, can't get any help from their so called...customer support!

This is the **second time** I’ve tried to cash out, only to have my account **deactivated right at the moment I go to redeem my rewards**. The first time, I lost **$75 in gift cards**, and now another **$25**. This time they claimed my account was deactivated for a “**cluttered background**,” even though I always follow their guidelines and use a **solid black background** when submitting receipts. I use **several other receipt/rewards apps** and have **never had a single issue** with any of them. Receipt Jar is the only one where this keeps happening, and the lack of clear explanations or support responses makes it even more frustrating. I truly enjoyed the app at first, but losing earned rewards twice is unacceptable. I hope the developers take this seriously and fix these issues, because right now, I cannot recommend this app.

My account was suspended for no reason and my reward denied. The reason stated was that I didn't own the account and I have had it over 2 years and had other payouts. Just a gimmick to not pay out I guess

This app is a complete scam and unfair. I have been doing this app for the better part of four years now and in the past year or so, they start to manually review each of your receipts for redemption and subsequently, they take issue to your receipts, either suspend or deactivate your account, and now all your time and effort spent is gone with your data you gave them in their hand with no compensation. There is no warning and you don't learn about the issue until it's time to redeem. Meanwhile, I submit identical receipts to their competitor's apps as I do with this app with no issue whatsoever. If you try to fight it, you likely won't hear back from them either. It's just a scammy tactic to punish your users with no formal explanation on how to fix the issue moving forward and giving no built it app features to fix the issue before it even becomes a problem. For instance, one issue of mine was that I had duplicate receipts - I find that hard to believe. Meanwhile, their competitor's apps are sophisticated enough to filter our duplicate receipts you scan by accident for you so we can all be happy. But this app is terrible - the online receipt submittals are also buggy. Go give you data and business to a better app. Receipt Jar fell off.

Scam scam scam!! don’t waste your time with receipt jar. I scanned receipts for over a year and a half and accumulated $100 once I tried to redeem, they suspended my account! Don’t waste your time!
