I have worked with Carolyn Thompson for more than 20 years as a fellow real estate professional, and during that time I have consistently seen two qualities that distinguish her: communication and persistence. Carolyn stays involved throughout the entire transaction and maintains communication with the professionals around her as well as her clients. I have seen her take on particularly challenging situations, including short sales and transactions involving foreclosure. Rather than giving up when there were obstacles with a bank, she continued working to find a way forward for her client. On many occasions, she has reached out directly to senior bank executives, including VPs and even presidents, to negotiate and advocate for a favorable decision. What I appreciate most is that this commitment doesn't seem to end when the transaction closes. I have seen Carolyn develop relationships with clients that continue long after they have bought or sold a home, sometimes becoming close friendships. After more than two decades of working alongside her, I have seen firsthand how seriously Carolyn takes her responsibility to her clients. Her communication, persistence, and willingness to stay with a difficult situation are qualities that consistently stand out.
