Do not scan QR codes. They are scams. I did so in Wrexham car park and was charged 1p and £29.90 subscription from readverse. It's a scam.

SCAM I was looking for a manual for a product - i clicked download which i never recieved - then this amount appears to have been taken from my account AND they consider it a monthly subscription Nicolae Gutu in Exeter seems to have set this company up for fraudulent purposes - the company are under investigate tion the Government and about to be shut down Fraudsters !

Barclays spotted a transaction for a monthly sub on my card which was not authorised by me - obviously Readverse are well known to the banks - it was refunded immediately

Was downloading kenwood instructions said 1p I allowed it on bank then it said 1p was 2 day trail and I had subscription after that They are an complete and utter fraud and I having difficulties trying to remove it

SCAM!!! I was looking for a car manual for my recently purchased vehicle. Initially my bank declined the 1p payment (I should have stopped there) but instead I paid the 1p from another card and an account I use for payments when in another country. Then I moved all the money from that account leaving 58p in there! So glad I was suspicious as there was a payment declined to them which I assume, reading these reviews, was a further £29. Now cancelled my “subscription” but they’ll get no more money from me!

SCAM Tried to down load Uber and to order taxi the day I was going on holiday , not sure how this happened but had1p then £29.90 Taken from account . I didn’t see any Emails as on holiday without work phone , I have contacted Readverse but they say I have signed up for a subscription which is rubbish , I’m in the process of trying to get a charge back from bank .

This is definitely a scam : without warning , they manage to charge you €29.90 monthly for no service or product received . Let’s hope someone manages to stop them as the banks haven’t been very helpful as per the reviews

SCAM ALERT - This is a scam. The company offers a trial for 0.01 euro and then a day later takes nearly 30 euros off your card for a monthly subscription. It is not clear what service or goods they provide, as I certainly did not receive anything. Impossible to reach anyone on their so-called customer service phone number in Amsterdam. No response to emails. Avoid!
