How disappointing that after 10 years of minding my own business on Ravelry, never reading or utilizing the forums, and contributing project photos for patterns I worked, that I'd be labeled a white supremacist simply because I voted for and support our President. They are not an inclusive community as they state. They are a bunch of SJW bullies hell bent on forcing their way of thinking on everyone. I just wanted to view and buy crochet and knit patterns but I refuse to purchase patterns to put money in the pocket of Ravelry. My hard earned money will be spent where it is wanted.

They also are heavy into censorship.. but my primary concern is website security.

Anti-American & Detrimental to "marginalized groups"
". . . politics in general could have been banned instead of one specific politician."
I had an avatar that stated "I support my President," and my profile went on to explain that I support whomever is the President at the time. Both were taken down. I supported Obama, though I couldn't stand his policies; I supported Bush, though I think he's a dope; I supported the perversely lecherous Clinton; all because they were my President and they're who the American people chose. A month later and they still haven't responded to explain why I can't support whomever is the current President - I did Not break their rule.
I deleted my Ravelry account and I choose, "I don't like this pin" to Every pin on Pinterest that lead to Ravelry. The Biggest exception I took was when Ravelry encouraged people to support them through designers, spinners, shops, and advertisers, especially those within what Ravelry perceives to be marginalized groups. So, if you're a white straight designer, spinner, shop, or advertiser, Ravelry has now put you last. That is Not an equal opportunity position and if I were a designer, spinner, shop, or advertiser I'd be mightily upset that Ravelry was playing favorites with my livelihood. I also took exception to being called an "indigenous person." I'm American Indian and there's nothing dirty or offensive about that. Calling me an "indigenous person" is distasteful because it's making it out to be that we're to be handled with some special care like using more gentle (clinical, cold, impersonal) words to describe us. We all make our own way in this world and if you let your race, creed, or gender get in the way of your success then that's Your problem. Fix it. Without crying discrimination. I don't need some self-perceived champion to pave the way for me, thank you very much.
If people want to be treated equally then they need to quit griping and do the same work the rest of us do. Like Morgan Freeman said to the question, "how do we stop racism," "Stop talking about it." Move on. There are Far too many protections against discrimination with EEO that the pendulum has swung in the Opposite direction. If a white person and a black person were to go for the same job, had the same qualifications, interviewed equally well, but the white person was a better fit for the team, they'd hire the black person for fear of the discrimination outcry.
A little anecdote: the Clerk of the Courts in my county was asked if he was going to extend the marriage license department's hours when same-sex marriage was made legal. His answer was, "No." Why? Because they wanted Equality and equality meant they could come get their license between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30 Monday through Friday Just Like Everyone Else. They were seeking special treatment, not equal treatment.

Trump supporters banned from this site
Their written policy states all Trump supporters are white supremacists and not welcome on their site. Good resource if this works for you.

I feel very unwelcome on this site…
I feel very unwelcome on this site because I love my country and I'm proud of my president. Why is that even relevant to a knitting and crocheting site?

LEFT THE LEFTIES AND THEIR POLITICAL HATRED
I joined Ravelry in their beginning years when they were all about the fiber arts and enjoyed my years of fellowship with others who were like-minded. They evolved into a hate mongering, trolling site that excluded anyone who did not agree with the politics of the left. That kind of behavior started several years ago-not just in recent months! I've removed my account and I'm glad I no longer belong to such a hate filled, narrow minded group!

Ravelry has single handedly divided the…
Ravelry has single handedly divided the knit and crochet community into angry political sides. We have always just been a group of crafters gathering together over our common hobby, but they have turned it into a witch hunt for conservatives. Shame on you ravelry (and your users who contribute to this nastiness). You claim to be inclusive while excluding half of the voter base. That's far from inclusive. Someone there needs to open a dictionary.

Ravelry got too political
Ravelry got too political. I used this site frequently to find patterns for customers, read yarn reviews to decide whether to purchase them, and referred Ravelry to all my new knitting customers. I've never used their forums, but since they've enacted this new policy of banning Trump mentions and patterns and equating Trump supporters as white supremacists, I read a few of them and couldnt believe the vitriol they allowed. Progressive members berating conservative members with such hatred malice, and mischaracterizations went over the line, and their allowing anti Trump products and discussions to stay is hypocritical. Whatever prompted Rav to enact this policy could have been more maturely handled by dealing with those involved.
Because of this, I closed my account and will not recommend Rav to my new knitting customers nor use it to help anyone find patterns. This once awesome site has become an awful and unsafe place for those who don't agree with their political positions. Politics are bad for business, and I will not be involved here.
