Customer service and billing claims department very unprofessional. After charging me way more then my copay of 60.00 they continue to send me bills even after I sent documentation showing I only owe 60.00 which I paid them for. Now Quest sends final notice stating I have not notified them of problem. 8 months of correspondence is disregarded. I wish I could go somewhere else

Heartless Company
Heartless Company. My family could not get test results for my father for days. It was supposed to only take 48hrs and 4 days later we still had no results. By not having the results my dad could not be diagnosed properly and wound up in the emergency room because of their lack of professionalism.

A CBC doesn't take a week to process
Why do I need to "make an appointment" on the computer by the front door when the two phlebotomists are standing there gossiping and the waiting room is EMPTY? I asked the tech to send results to my primary care Dr. (in addition to the ordering Dr.) but she said I "didn't ask her early enough". How much earlier should that have been, she was still drawing my blood. A CBC takes HOURS, not WEEKS. The turnaround time is pathetic..shocking, really.

Extremely Long Waits Even with Appointment
Quest (Stonegate/Lake City, FL) waiting room was "standing room only" for customers with appointments . . . .waiting, waiting, waiting to be called. There were 30-40 customers with 9:00 am, 9:10 am, 9:20 am appointments, by 10:00 am none was called. Waiting, waiting.
Clearly, they jammed as many people as possible into each ten-minute time slot - with ten people for the same appointment time.
They claimed "multiple phlebotomists", for each time slot, but then claimed "short staffed".
There were 30-40 people in waiting room - all but three had an appointment.
Use any other lab.

I’m beyond frustrated witBeware of Billing Issues with Quest Diagnostics – Double Check Everything!h the way…
I’m beyond frustrated with the way Quest Diagnostics has handled my billing. According to my EOB, I should owe a small amount, but instead, they’ve billed me a much higher amount that makes no sense at all. It feels like they’ve completely screwed me over, and I’m left trying to figure out what went wrong. To anyone considering using Quest Diagnostics, I highly recommend you double-check everything. You might end up with unexpected, inflated bills, and good luck getting them to fix the issue.

Had blood drawn in October 2024
Had blood drawn in October 2024, I am a type 1 diabetic so this is a quarterly procedure. They demanded a credit card for payment for the test, this was new as I would usually get a bill and pay it immediately. So I gave the credit card information, I was charged on November 4th 2024, today November 14th 2024 I get an email from quest telling me I have 5 days to pay, no bill, no amount, no codes, so I log onto quest patient portal and go to billing, they want the bill number, I don’t have a bill number I’m responding to an email. I call Quest wait on the phone for 1 hour and 10 minutes only to get switched to a recording that the office is closed call back when it is convenient and during office hours. Well I’m never calling back, and I’m switching insurance in 2025 so I will never do business with Quest again, and they can send the bill to collections because it doesn’t show up on your credit report, so what are they going to do? Put my blood back 😁 they have gotten so bad in the last 18 months I can’t in good conscience go back, save yourself a headache if you can go somewhere else please do

Shoddy system of appointments
Shoddy system of appointments! I had an appointment rescheduled at the Quest kiosk at 268 Third Avenue, NYC for the same day an hour later. When I returned at the rescheduled time I found that my QR code for the original time had not been updated to the rescheduled time. However, my name was up on the TV monitor with the correct rescheduled time. However, I realized that without the QR confirmation they would have no way of knowing I'd arrived. I attempted to explain to the phlebotomist in the first booth and he basically just shooed me away and said I could be a walk-in and wait. (This was a fasting blood and I was already faint.) I walked away in tears. If there are errors in the system, shouldn't staff be trained to know that they should pay attention to the person.
