Man who drew my blood was great. The app stinks, the results have not been provided for a week and I was told by a right fighting customer service my sample was sent from Texas to Virginia and once they get it, its 8 more days. This is a test you can get on Amazon with a 15 min turn around time, I need a formal diagnosis so I used Quest. When I told her the turn around time was stated to be quicker online she talked over me and argued. Just so unprofessional, disorganized and I will be using CPL moving forward.

I’m sick and tired of share holders profits being more important than good customer service which should include a REAL person not a computerized screen. The blood draw people are kind, professional, and competent but It’s probably only a matter of time before these greedy people figure out how to get robots to draw blood.

Quest lab uses a like masking tape after taking the blood sample, the big problems for senior citizens is that when taking out the tape in the house the tape take out your skin and this may be the motive that the skin gets infections beside it is very cruel from them. Masking tape is for warehouse uses.

There is no human in the lobby, just a check-in terminal pad. This is unacceptable in an area where many patients do not read English, and many elderly are unfamiliar with computer gadgetry. The techs always seem stressed, and every few months, they are different (big turnover). Also, the fact that you have to *make an appointment just to drop off a specimen* like a 24 hour urine is ridiculous, that's how understaffed they are.

I haven't had a chance yet to get results and deal with billing. However, I wanted to report on the scheduling and actual blood draw experience. I had to phone in to schedule. There is no option to speak to a person. It is apparently a nation or region-wide system and you have to choose the specific facility you want to go to. You have to sit and accept or decline each one, so it takes a few minutes just to identify the right lab. Every step of the process was like that. Very, very, very long. Then it disconnected. I had to start over. When it was all said and done it took me 20 minutes to schedule a simple blood draw. No way around the call tree and the limited options it gives you. When I arrived at the lab, again, there were no people. No signage just a kiosk to sign in. They were several minutes late, and there was no greeting from the Phlebotomist. Just said my name told me where to sit and that was it. No words. She took my blood and managed to utter the words, have a nice day. Even the blood draw was the slowest I have ever experienced. This was because the Phlebotomist had to enter all of my information into the system. I had entered information and scanned my cards at check in, but once I was in the room, she had to enter it into the system?? I saw no other human beings. I don't want to ever go back. Scheduling was The Most Frustrating experience imaginable and the in person experience was....isolating.

The bed side manner of the staff is lacking. They have no compassionate interactions with the clients that I observed. There is no way to speak to anyone if you have a question because there is no human in the reception area. The human staff you do interact with are cold.

My blood specimens have been sitting in The lab for 4 days. No results. Not acceptable.

Setup appt for simple bloodwork arrived 20 mins early hoping to get in and done early. The screen shows who has appointments and you can see how many people are in the lobby. 12:03 pm lady comes out and calls a person that was here before me but she did not show as an appointment on the screen so she was a walk in. They took her before me. It is now 12:09pm. Still waiting and I have a call at 12:25 so need to leave. Why is it so difficult to go appointments first and walk ins have to wait?
