I had an appt after typing in my info machine didn’t read my phone number but I told lab tech my info must be somewhere here “I’m not lying” all the help she gave me is telling ur considered a walk in next appt 4 hrs from now. I didn’t have my confirmation number but doesn’t the people at desk call you on n try to help you find that info? I have sleeping problems so it’s a challenge to be anywhere @ 5:30 am…I should have been accommodated… there should be people there to help you… if lady wouldn’t come out to turn tv on there would have been no ask for help!! What a sorry system!

Home Collection incomplete and difficult experience.
This company offers home collection which I would like to utilize for my elderly parents in assisted living. I took them to the nearest location the first time. It was not wheelchair accessible at all and the employees would not even hold a door for me. I had to have other patients hold the door for my mother's wheelchair. Recently, we tried home collection which should have included a urine sample. The tech told my mother that the urine wasn't important and she could do it later and she would pick it up later. They gave no instruction how to collect the urine and now won't pick it up. I have to drive it to a center for which I need an appointment. There are no appts available and the next nearest location is closed for a month. It's impossible to get make the home collection work.

I make an appointment for Quest for…
I make an appointment for Quest for November 11 2025 for 10 AM today. I got a text saying that they have to cancel my appointment. I made this appointment sometime in September. I don’t understand how a garbage company like them can take your appointment. Cancel it instead of asking can we relocate your appointment they make you get back on and have another appointment made this has happened multiple times and all they say is for renovation for the office. This is the most disgusting place in the world. Why you make an appointment if they’re not gonna honor the appointment and for me to have to log back on and make an appointment again is stupid. This was their choice to accept the appointment in November and now to tell me the place is gonna be closed for renovation all November what a disgusting company they are. I feel sorry for their employees they must treat their employees the same way. someone needs to go to a Customer Service seminar and understand what Customer Service means every company is open for the customer is not for their own will

I'd give a 0 rating if I could
I'd give a 0 rating if I could. I took my son in for routine blood work on 5/19/25. In September of 2025 I received a "Past Due" bill stating that I owe $8603.03 for services! For a one time visit that lasted around 10 minutes!???? I called my insurance company, and they stated that the claim has already been paid out to Quest and my amount due was $53 which I had already paid.
My insurance company stated that Quest initially attempted to bill $15,000 for the blood work! When they refused that, Quest then submitted the 2nd bill for $8603.03 which my insurance again refused, stating it is not my responsibility. My insurance paid the "legit" part of the claim and denied the rest stating it wasn't the patient's responsibility to pay.
My insurance offered to do a 3-way call to get this sorted out but then we were told it would be a 30-minute wait time to speak to someone at Quest. So, I later called Quest on my own to sort it out and after waiting about 40 minutes, the rude customer service rep offered me the option to pay the amount over the phone. I stated that I had spoken with my insurance, and that they told me these appeared to be bogus charges. The rep stated that the bill might have something to do with my deductible. I told the rep that Quest needed to call my insurance and sort this out and my insurance company had requested they do so. Quest stated they wouldn't do that, and my insurance would need to call them. I could see this was going nowhere fast, so I hung up the phone in frustration.
I called my insurance company again and they stated my son's deductible is $250 so they have no idea where Quest would get the idea of an $8603.03 (not to mention the original $15,000) deductible. My insurance company stated they would call Quest on my behalf to sort this out.
After about a week of waiting, my insurance called me and told me it had been sorted out. They stated if I received any other bills for that outrageous amount, to ignore them.
Thankfully, I haven't received any further bills in that amount. But I am still receiving a $53 bill which was already paid (see above). Plus, they've also deducted two bills right out of my checking account - One for $24 and another for $2.97. I have no idea what those are, but it looks like I'll have to call my bank now and see if they can deny any auto-deductions from these shady jerks at Quest.
My advice.... stay far away from Quest!

Exceptionally rude staff…
I was at the Portage North Medical Center in Ravenna Ohio. The staff at this location is exceptionally rude. The person at the desk, never looked up (I assume a volunteer) never greeted anyone. Just sat and read her book. The technician called my name and after that never she said anything either, not a hello, where we going, nothing. After that I gave her my information. She said that I didn’t have any orders. And never said a thing to me after that, so I got up and left. I don’t understand why this is such and unfriendly and rude place. Will not go here ever again, it is too frustrating and unfriendly. I wish I could give it a zero rating.

INVISIBLE WITHOUT APPOINTMENT
TWO HOURS WASTED!! They had 14 scheduled appointments and I was second on the standby list.
The check-in kiosk stated I would probably have a 30-60 minute-wait because I was a walk-in. I looked up every time the phlebotomists opened the door to call someone and I was NEVER called. I never left the room either. After 90 minutes in the quiet waiting room, I noticed my name was removed from the TV monitor. I asked why my name had been removed. They claimed they called me twice. I spoke to Supervisor, Erica G., who was unapologetic, and she had me sign in all over again as a walk-in. Of the 4 phlebotomists they had working that morning, none of them could say they actually called me. It seems they were eager to get me off their list to lighten their client load. I waited another 30 minutes and then left. I only came here because the location at Metropolitan permanently closed. I never waited more than 20 minutes at Metropolitan Quest as a walk-in.
What a horrible service at the Fredericksburg location! I DO NOT recommend Quest on Fredricksburg at all!
