1 Star is exceedingly generous. They legitimately have the worst business of all time. They conduct a service that is designed to be impossible to pay for so they can compound it. You call? Your information is "incorrect" or "out of date", You try to create an account? You copy and paste the verification code? It is "Incorrect" or "Expired". Incredibly pathetic. I genuinely think there are no real humans a part of the company and that is why it is such a horrific user experience. 100% AI generation and automation.

Horrible company
Horrible company! Doctor entered incorrect code. I am sweating after spending over an hour trying to reach a LIVE AGENT because Quest does not put the ordering doctor’s name on relevant bills. Crazy! I will not do future business with companies who use automated recordings instead of live people. STOP REPLACING PEOPLE WITH MACHINES! You lose money!! Go anywhere else, but not Quest.

Trash Digital Systems
Today I went to submit a sample that I didn't have physical paperwork for and got turned down cause their systems were down. I went to the next nearest location and they were down too and said it was the whole state. Apparently the internet is unaware and there was no message sent out to indicate their systems were down. I had made an appointment and has planned this a couple weeks in advance, and my efforts to prepare the sample are a waste cause it only lasts so long. I had to throw it out. Another time they send me a bill that I tried paying with both their phone and online billing services and that didn't work either. Absolutely trash reliability.
The one good thing is that the technicians are typically friendly.

Very disappointed with my experience at…
Very disappointed with my experience at Quest Diagnostics. I had an appointment on September 24 for what should have been a very simple blood test to check my prostate/PSA numbers. Today is October 2, and I still do not have my results.
Waiting more than a week for a routine lab result is unacceptable, especially when the test is something as important as a PSA level. If there is a reason for the delay, Quest should at least communicate that to the patient rather than leaving them wondering what is happening.
I have used Quest before, but this experience has been extremely frustrating. Patients deserve timely results and better communication.

I have now tried twice in the last few…
I have now tried twice in the last few weeks to get blood test results online. I had no trouble doing this in 2025. Now these idiots have gone freaking crazy. In early September, after getting extremely frustrated with their endless requests for more and more login verification, I changed my info, exited, and then emailed them and asked them to DELETE my info (rather than choosing to "Deactivate" the account). And, of course, they wrote me back and told me I needed to "Deactivate" the account.
I still wanted the results downloaded in their entirety, so on 10/02/2026, I tried yet again. I got in, changed all of my info back to the correct name and address and tried to get my results. Every time you click on any link, you have to get verified all over again. I absolutely HATE giving my cell number to anyone who stores it online, yet that is the only way to get verified via direct connection. So I entered it. I even tried to do what I absolutely refused to do four weeks earlier by attempting to allow them to scan my driver's license via a link on my phone. I tried multiple times. It NEVER worked properly. I have no idea why these idiots cannot let me upload an image of my license as I have front and back images stored on my PC in .pdf and .jpg format. But nooooo! You have to jump through multiple stupid hoops to get this done, that is, if you can get it done.
I have login credentials stored for over three hundred sites in a file on my PC (and all except three or four do NOT share the same passwords). None are saved within a browser my PC, so I have to login manually each and every time I log in to any site. I have NEVER in all my years experienced the frustration and difficulty that I just experienced with Quest Diagnostics. This time, after having two verification codes emailed to me and four others texted to me AND, after trying at least SIX different times to scan a QR code and allow my phone to take a photo of my license via their link, I gave up and "Deactivated" my account. What a frustrating experience......way worse than I have EVER experienced with ANY OTHER site online. The idiots at Quest need to start over. And by the way, have you noticed on this site that the great bulk of your ratings are the lowest that can be given.

I didn’t even want to leave one star
I didn’t even want to leave one star, Quest certainly doesn’t deserve it. Several hours long wait period, it is pathetic. Also, I’ve received many bills from them that were fully covered by my insurance but apparently they don’t understand billing as much as they don’t understand managing patients and walk ins, they are even incompetent with scheduled appointments. Expect an hour plus wait after the time scheduled for your appointment. Expect several hours if you’re a walk in. Quest fails in all aspects. Wish I could rate them -5.

Horrific experience
Horrific experience. I came as a walk in at 7:30am and the check in staff said it wouldn’t be a problem for me to be seen before 9am. At 8am, they changed their mind and said it wouldn’t be possible. So I made an appointment for the next day at 7am. When I was in, they refused to take my electronic order. They required it to be emailed to a specific email address and said it takes a while for them to receive it, and if it took longer than 10 minutes they would need to cancel my appointment. It did indeed take longer than 10 minutes and my appointment was cancelled. I will NOT be going back to Qwest. Horrific service and a complete waste of time. WHO DOESN'T TAKE ELECTRONIC ORDERS THESE DAYS?!!!
