Self check-in kiosk not working properly, screen filthy, waiting room filthy. Blood taker left a 5inch black and blue bruise on arm after procedure. Absolutely the worst location (Fallbrook) and workers. Go somewhere else for your safety.

I had a very upsetting experience at this location with my 2.5-year-old son at Malborough CT Quest Diagnostic. The staff member (Chandra) was rude and visibly frustrated from the beginning. This was already a stressful situation—getting blood work for a toddler—and instead of making it easier, she made it much worse. She raised her voice and did not show patience or care. She attempted to draw blood from both of my son’s arms. The first attempt failed, which I understand can happen. However, the second attempt was done in a forceful manner and clearly caused him significant pain. He was crying intensely, and the situation felt out of control. Instead of helping calm things down, her attitude made everything more tense. She also blamed the failed draw on my child “not drinking water,” which was incorrect—he had eaten and had fluids before the appointment. At no point did she ask about his preparation. As a parent, I felt unsupported, blamed, and honestly unsafe in that moment. Staff working with children should have proper training in how to handle pediatric patients with patience and care. This experience was far from acceptable. I hope this location takes this seriously and improves how they treat families and young children.

I have had terrible experiences with this company. Once I was sent completely wrong results, and my doctor thought I had to rush to the ER to be immediately treated. I did, just to find out it was a mistake... I got a blown vein another time, and finally the phlebotomist neglected to use a an alcohol prep pad before or after doing the draw. I don't care if I have to drive far away. That was my last visit to this place

Extremely rude and hostile billing staff. Even when they confirmed it's their mistake, they leave it up to the customer to fix the issues. Unbelievably unprofessional and malicious company.

Fairfield CT 1305 Post Road. Phlebotomist Allie (newer to this location) This has been my go-to location since 2005! The girls have always been lovely. Considerate and kind. Today I went in for a routine blood draw req. A young lady named Allie called me through. I could tell the energy was off from the moment she called me through. Sullen and irritated doesn’t even cover it. When one of my orders did not show up in her system I offered to call the doc in question. I called the respective office and they both electronically sent it and faxed it, right away. Her attitude during this was one of irritation. No attempt to hide her disdain. She did tell me that if faxed I would need to wait 30 mins before being called back in. I was relying on the electronic request to come in first. (In the past I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for electronic order to come in) However, Allie would not confirm that she had received it electronically (even though I called back the Drs office whom confirmed they had already sent it.. electronically, twice). Again, I have had this happen before where a doctors order for bloodwork somehow is not showing up in Quest system and have called directly and gotten it right away and Quest took the blood. I have never had an experience like this before. Allie was clearly irritated by the situation, I was not comfortable having her draw my blood. I rescheduled! For a different location. Maybe she was having a bad day. Even so, you don’t take it out on the customer!!! So unsettling. Quest, do better when hiring people requiring the attributes to make them suitable for this job!

My sister who is disabled visited Quest for blood test and urine sample. She was unable to provide a urine so I was told we could drop it off later and to tell the rep that it was in the system. When I tried to deliver the sample, there was no one to give it to since there is no receptionist at Wuest. I knocked on the door and a person came storming out toward me. I smiled and held up the sample but was met with unbelievable rudeness, told to sign in and wait. “We are very busy and I don’t know.who you are”. She slammed the door in my face and walked away. Wait time the machine told me was 30 to 60 minutes, an unreasonable time to wait to drop off a tribe sample already in the system. I will not be using Quest ever again.

1 star is way too many stars ... I went in for a simple blood test and somehow left feeling like I’d participated in a low-budget survival game show. First off, the waiting room had the energy of a DMV from 1997—except with more visible despair. I checked in, aged about three years, and then watched multiple people who came in after me get called back like they had some kind of VIP “actually alive” membership. When I finally got called, the technician approached my arm like it personally offended them. I’m pretty sure they were aiming for a vein but emotionally committed to the general concept of my arm instead. At one point I considered asking if they were mining for oil. The chair? Looked like it had seen things. Bad things. The kind of chair that whispers, “no one leaves here hydrated.” And let’s talk about professionalism—if by professionalism you mean loudly discussing weekend plans while actively missing veins, then wow, 10/10. By the time I left, I wasn’t sure if they had successfully drawn blood or just taken my will to live. Either way, I’m pretty confident they got something. Would I go back? Only if it’s part of some elaborate punishment system or I lose a bet.
