I had a frustrating experience with Quest Diagnostics. My lab results were placed on hold because one pending zinc test delayed the release of all other completed results. I contacted customers service 3 times requesting partial release of my tests they promise that they will email it and nothing have done nor me not my doctor could access the results and requested a partial release, but the communication process was unclear and stressful. Waiting for important health results without proper explanation caused unnecessary anxiety. I understand labs require quality control, but patients should have better transparency, faster communication, and easier access to completed results while waiting for non-critical pending tests.

On 5/5/26 I had a 1:00 p.m. appointment at the Inverness Quest (210 S. Apopka Ave.), booked and confirmed via their text system. At no point did it say I also had to check in at a kiosk. When I asked about my appointment around 1:15, one staff member (Erika?) loudly scolded me for not using the kiosk, said they “didn’t even know” I was there, signed me in herself, slammed the door, and said she wouldn’t “wait on me.” Her behavior was rude, hostile, and completely unprofessional. After my blood draw, when she found out I had recorded our earlier interaction, she left another patient mid‑procedure, followed me into the waiting area/parking lot, and loudly threatened to call the police, falsely claiming I had “broken HIPAA.” I felt intimidated and disrespected. In contrast, another employee (Michelle?) was excellent—calm, kind, and professional. She apologized for what happened, helped me, and encouraged me to report the incident. This employee deserves recognition; the first employee’s conduct does not reflect basic standards of professionalism, dignity nor patient care!

HORRBILE EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINSIH. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS RUDE AND DELAYS ARE TO BE EXPECTED, ALONG WITH LOST RESULTS AND RETAKES

Had blood test on 4/16/26. Something happened @ Quest where they put the test on hold but never notified me ( the customer ) or my Doctor. I had to go online and persue the reason for this and it took well over 2 hours to try and find out what happened. Their website for help was horrible and I finally got an answer which was " I don't know " by the customer service person. Quest had a major breakdown of their system and with their communication between them, myself and my doctor. NEVER using them again !!!!

Sign in and wait for couple hours minimum to get in

Have an actual person at the window. I had to make an appointment to retrieve and drop off a stool sample. I witnessed your staff turn down a lady in a wheelchair. The standard response we recommend you make an appointment. There was only me there and I was early. It would be helpful for you employees be fluent in English.

If there was an option to rate ZERO I would.

I set up my Quest account, did dual sign in text to my phone, sent pictures of my driver's license which was accepted, and took a selfie which was accepted. Quest failed to verify my identity. Therefore, I canceled my future labs & will get my labs done by another provider. If Quest can't confidently verify who I am, I question theircompetency as a business. You have lost me as a customer because you can't do simple dual sign in like virtually every financial institution in America does.
