I had blood work on 3/13/2026 and Medicare denied payment. Quest did NOT forward the claim to my secondary BC/BS. Instead they charged my credit card. I had a three way phone call with BC/BS and Quest billing. We were told by Quest it was only a "COURTESY" to forward the claim and not a mandate. My issue is not about being responsible for the bill. but that Quest bills before forwarding to secondary providers and makes you give your credit card information to bill you before sending it to the secondary providers.

Ordered test 5/4, set up appointment also on 5/4, received confirmation for location and time. Drove to the appointment (30 min drive). They couldn't find the appointment, spent 30 minutes trying to find it, and were told to call their customer service. The hold time was over 40 minutes. I couldn't wait that long, so I tried to cancel. Was told I have to contact customer service. Sent email to cancel and requested a refund. Still waiting...

Staff is way overworked They need to hire more help and have greeter / manager for waiting room Repeating the same loop on tv is unnecessary Need a quiet room for pediatric patients I waited an hour and half to drop off specimen An example of profits over people and really inconsiderate of peoples time

People are beyond rude at 340 e north ave, this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, everyone at this location seems like they hate their job and are not willing to help and have people skills.tegy even lied to me that they didn’t have my order. Avoid this place

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Use LabCorp or any other provider. I've had multiple bad experiences across various locations, losing blood samples, putting in the wrong tests, talking to customer service to be told it was correct only to learn it was not. Do better.

Rude and uncompromising. I had an appointment for a urine test and got there early. When it was my time, I asked if I could give a sample, and they refused. I waited over an hour and almost peed myself in their waiting room. This was the second time I showed for my test. The first time they told me they don’t accept the test after 3pm. LabCorp is much better. My patients also tell me so.

Terrible experience at this Atwater location. My parents came as walk-ins and waited over an hour. When they arrived, there were about six other people waiting, but one by one everyone with an appointment was called and left. At one point, my parents were the only ones in the waiting room — and still nobody called them. People continued coming and going, but my parents kept getting overlooked. When someone finally came out, instead of helping them, the employee told us we could keep waiting or come back the next day. When I asked why no one had called my parents when the waiting room was completely empty, I was told they sometimes need time to "arrange specimens." That's not an acceptable explanation when patients are sitting there waiting with no communication. I asked for an estimated wait time. She said she didn't know. I asked if they would be called before closing at 3:30 PM — it was 2:30 PM at the time. She said she didn't know. I asked if it was possible they'd close without ever calling my parents. She said, "It's possible." This is unacceptable. Walk-in patients deserve basic communication and respect. Other Quest locations manage walk-ins just fine. This location needs serious improvement in customer service and basic patient communication.
