The testing was fine. But when I tried to call them afterwards I could not speak with anyone locally and when I call a 1800 number I had to hold on the line. When I finally got to a human and asked that they share a copy of the results with my PCP they told me the PCP would have to call them to request them!!!! I assured them I am the patient and have authorized them to share them.....But a lady named "Storm" said she only deals with doctor's requests not patients. So I had to call My very busy doctor's office to make the request. They were not happy with this ridiculous step. It's obviously just a big bureaucracy! And they don't care about the patient!!!!!

Presented the technician at Quest Diagnostics in Hamilton with a written prescriptions for a routine battery of tests for my annual physical. The technician managed to miss one, and when my internist called they didn't admit it, and I had return to my physician for a new script, find an appointment (further away), and fast another day.

I use quest for all of my blood testing needs, as I have multiple health issues that require constant monitoring. For the most part, they are awesome. Sometimes understaffed, but always clean, and they work as fast as they can. The ONLY reason I withhold 2 stars is because there is no way to get to the bathrooms or get someone to let you back to use the toilets. You just have to wait, and hope you dont have a long gap between nurses. This is a problem because I have IBS-D, which means when I get stressed (and guess who has a phobia of needles) I get diarrhea. So, I am sitting here, holding back a violent torrent of liquid brown, and hoping like hell someone will let me use the bathroom.

I have no complaints about the lab etc. (5 stars) what I have a complaint about is their customer service. (0 stars if that were possible) I went through all the hoops to identify myself then was asked a series of questions regarding what cars I’ve been associated with. (I was trying to get my test results.) Well, I could not answer correctly enough because I don’t know makes and years of cars my husband has had in the past. Then I talk with a bot and it said call CS. It’s a fax number that rings like a fax. Then hangs up. I never got my results. I told the boy/then person that and it/he said that it did work. So to sum up. The questions are ridiculous and their CS is worse.

Why do I have to keep getting the same phlebotomist that keeps digging into my arm? I received an e-mail from Quest Diagnostics to rate my last visit. I mentioned what the phlebotomus did In which I didn’t appreciate the way the phlebotomist was digging into my arm when drawing blood, as well as the phlebotomist being on a phone call & was irritated with the person on the other end of the phone call. I don’t see any reason why the phlebotomist would take out her aggression on my arm. Later I received a bill for $1400 which was a mistake. My latest visit I had the same phlebotomist & again she proceeded in digging with the needle, as well as when she pulled a tube of blood & inserted a new tube & each time the needle was painful. Before I had my blood drawn, the phlebotomist mentioned to me that my doctor had only sent 3 test to be preformed. When I told my doctor, he explained that there was a list of the test he wanted done & that there was no way the form could not have all the information for the phlebotomist & explained that the form couldn’t have just part of the bloodwork he wanted preformed. This is getting old & very uncomfortable having to deal with the same phlebotomist that doesn’t seem to care about the way she is doing a bad joy of drawing blood. Also, I always receive an e-mail asking me to review my latest visit & this last time I didn’t receive an e-mail to review my last visit, hence me having to find your site to write a review.

They really need to bring back a receptionist. Too many people with too many simple questions taking up the phlebotomist time. Older people and immigrants, which there are many in this area, struggle with the lack of help from a human. All the frustration caused to the public is not worth the $15 per hour they are saving. 2023 is the return to customer service. It is now the number one priority if companies want to remain competitive.

Was texted 3 times that I could pay through my phone, despite telling them on first text to send me paper bill. I went on website, no way to pay bill online or link to where it could be done. I called and was told there was no online bill pay. I told the lady to send me a bill, no bill but only letter with amount, no return envelope with correct address I find out later. I sent them a personal check with address on letter and or envelope. Two weeks later I receive a bill saying their records indicate an outstanding balance. This bill had a different address. I checked my bank checking statement and the check hadn't been cashed. I went online from the bill and a different online site and paid with my health savings account debit. I just checked a little while ago and my check was cashed also. I went on their billing site and no credit even listed for the doubled amount. By reading some of the other reviews here I am not holding my breath that they won't keep my $74.44. All they had to do was tell me the correct billing site, it sucks because these people almost have a monopoly, it seems that the vast amount of doctors use them for their tests. Update, called them shortly after this and the customer service representative acknowledged seeing the double payment and told me they would send me a refund check. The only thing I received from them was a notice of one payment saying I had a zero balance. Without calling out name(s) here we know what they are, keeping people's hard earned money. 2nd update, finally received full refund but check made out to my wife. That's fine but a bit odd as the original payment was from my personal checking account and I have my own Quest Diagnostics account. Updated with 3 stars.

Technicians are great Always polite and very efficient Front desk is rude and a very negative feature of quest.
