I had two different medical bills with this company and did not receive a copy from them. The labs had been sent out from my medical providers office. I had double insurance at the time and for some reason Quest did not bill my insurance. I only found out that I had a bill from my credit report as due to Covid I experienced hardships and had to move twice. The customer service representative was abusive and unhelpful when I called for help with this bill. He interrogated me and played games when I tried to recall who my primary insurance was through. He acted as though I was trying to be deceptive when all I was trying to do was get this straightened out. He yelled at me and I demanded to be transferred to a manager at which time he them disconnected me and I have now been on hold for an additional 20 mins. There was no reason for this bill to be sent to collections. Quest was able to see and bill my insurance but chose not to. The representative was able to see who my primary insurance provider was but chose to ignore this and carry on in an abusive manner and yell at a customer. This company should remember that WE ARE CUSTOMERS. I will avoid Quest Diagnostics at all cost in the future. No one should have to deal with this kind of service from a healthcare company.

I have a doctor's requisition for testing. Came on Monday and the kiosk told me there were no appointments available for the testing that I need. No appointments available within a reasonable time frame (3+ months) in my area (10001). I left. It's now Thursday. Ridiculous wait times at location for walk-ins and there are only 2 phlebotomist working. I'm still here and I've been waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes. Have to go back to work now so maybe I'll check out LabCorp next time. PS:. I'm number 7 on the walk-in list and they just knowingly let number 8 to go ahead of me.

Had appointment/ received all the appropriate texts til checking. Never received so went in half hour later to inquire what happened and my waiting. Employee came out to waiting room and when I started explaining she cut me short and started yelling at me. Later, when finally got in never acknowledged Quest’s responsibility.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the worst, unimaginable, and unthinkable customer service at Quest Diagnostics. My minor child had a scheduled appointment on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 12:15 PM. Granted, I’ll admit showing up to the wrong facility at 4510 Medical Center Dr, located in McKinney. This particular location is closed on the weekends and soon as I realized the error. I hurried to the correct location at 730 West exchange Quest Diagnostics, located inside Walmart in Allen. I arrived and signed in at 12:26. The phlebotomist eventually came and called my child’s name. Please keep in mind that my child has been fasting overnight. She stated that “I “don’t have an appointment. I assured the phlebotomist that I do in fact have an appointment and offered to show her the confirmation. She continued to say that I don’t have an appointment. I asked her if she will wait on us and simply told us no. I told her that I was going to contact a supervisor. She confidently stated; go ahead. I’m already on the phone with her, (Holly). I called the supervisor, Corrine who told me that I don’t have an appointment and this is an appointment only service location. There were ONLY two other people serviced after my arrival. The time is now 1:08 and Corrie told me that they will not service me and will call me back. Moments later the Allen Police Department arrived and a officer approached me and stated that he is not going to escort me out and understands there is an issue. The officer wasn’t quite sure why the company wouldn’t service me and ask if there is another lab that I could visit because obviously there’s an issue here. I explained the situation, he empathize and observed that I had three minor children under the age of 18 and didn’t want them to feel uncomfortable with him being there and placed stickers on their shirts, apologize and we all exited the facility. The phlebotomist and her supervisor would rather prove a point instead of showing an act of kindness to a family that just came to get routine bloodwork and mind you her minor child has been fasting since midnight and it’s now 1 o’clock in the afternoon. I did tell the police officer that I find it challenging because I am in the healthcare industry and I go out of my way to help others not for any accolades or pats on the back. However, wholeheartedly because I genuinely care about people and I understand that life happens. I admit arriving 11 minutes late. In conclusion, Quest Diagnostics staff was rude and unaccommodating. It’s truly sad I will NEVER visit Quest Diagnostics again.

Check in process was odd: I checked in three times via their console but they struggled to find the apt. What really bothered me though: I got by blood pressure checked & it came back as 145/75 - pretty terrible considering I was 126/75 2 years ago. The nurse was totally unconcerned, said it was "a little elevated" and didn't recheck it. Disappointed at how caual and misleading that was.

I thought to share my experience regarding an unacceptable delay in getting my Covid 19 PCR test result. But seeing the previous reviews here, I notice that this public company does not care for any bad reviews and there is nothing one can do against them. Nonetheless, I took a PCR Covid test on Saturday 14th August with the expectation of receiving the result in 24 hours. Instead, it was today on Wednesday morning that I received the result. All this time, I was anxiously waiting, the portal did not give any information, nor would the customer service phone will be picked up. Once when by chance customer service picked up, I was given the wrong information that I shall get my result late afternoon on Monday, which never happened. What a frustration to have come across with this lab.

Horribly run!! Always a long wait for labs. They took over for Mercy labs- and it’s been so annoying ever since- would never recommend them!!
