Quest is too understaffed to take the time to speak with their customers!
I received a very large bill from Quest which was improperly coded by the physician. I called my insurance provider before calling Quest and they said they never received a claim from Quest for me. I then called Quest. I was NOT ALLOWED to speak to anyone about my claim. I was simply told via a phone recording that their claim department was too short staffed to answer the phone. They said use their website. I went on the website only to realize I had wasted my time because their website only lets you view and pay your bill. I called my doctor and they actually told me to call Quest. This is where I lost my cool. The doctor's office made the mistake, and they will have to fix it because I am not allowed to speak to anyone at quest because they are just too understaffed due to the pandemic. Not allowing your customers to speak to you is not acceptable.

Recharge after 3 months
I visited Hauppauge NY Quest Diagnostics Lab on July 28,2021 and paid full service around $819.89 right before they took my blood and urine samples.
Now 3 months later November 3, 2021 I am keep receiving text messages saying I have a balance of $845.59.
I call customer service nobody answers, I emailed no body response!
This is a scam business ! Please stay away, be careful!

Wait time is over 50 minutes
Wait time is over 50 minutes. My name disappeared from the monitor and I kept asking staff for their assistance/ explanations and my requests were ignored. The experience is very stressful. My exposure to The strangers were quadrupled due to waiting time. For immunocompromised person it is a great opportunity to get more sick than you already are.
Do not use their computerized check in system on your devices. Use their monitor at the lab. I think it is more reliable.

Customer service at its lowest
I would give the East Stroudsburg, Pa location a negative 100 if it were possible. I had three unpleasant experiences at two separate times all from different people and representatives, which was unfathomable that each experience could top the next. The first experience I made an appt, but failed
To bring in the blood work order. Despite what the claims of the recording you hear over six times, no one was willing to help me obtain the needed documentation either off of my phone via the client portal where the doctor placed the order or via the communication devices they have on site. I was told immediately upon not having any documentation that I needed
To use the fax machine to have the doctor fax it over. But it was stated to me in a demanding matter of factly tone that I
Did not take to kind to. In a last ditch effort I stormed out of the site extremely angry, but more determined to save my liberty than anything else. I calmed down and contacted the doctors office to obtain a printed copy of the order. I decided I will go in after an appt in the area. I arrive to the office at 9am, there are three people in the waiting area. I approach the check in kiosk as I am directed by the signage. I sign it and am given an est. time of service of three minutes. I sit down and as expected they call the three in the waiting room one at a time. Once the last person comes out and exits the site. I sit there for several minutes and someone with an appt enters. They take the person rather quickly, which again is expected. The patient leaves within minutes, and again I am left sitting in the waiting room unattended. I begin to get frustrated and contact my insurance company for another location that accepts my insurance. That phone call was able to be achieved and ended and they still had not called me. At 9:45 I get up and walk out, and received no call from Quest stating they were ready for me. I get home a hour and fifteen minutes later and still no call. I call the local office, listen to a message several times and am ultimately disconnected due to no avail reps. I call the corporate number and am on hold for 25 minutes. I ask the rep to provide the contact information for the corporate complaint department. She gets quiet, after a few seconds of silence I say hello to ensure I was not disconnected after waiting for so long, And I am met with attitude instead of the answer to the question I posed. After a few minutes the rep asks for my name and phone number, after which I now ask her if she is taking the complaint. She responds yes, takes more info and as I am explaining the situation never apologizes for the poor experience and went a step further and attempted to validate the reason for my experience without hearing me out, and fully listening. I had to inform her rather loudly that I did not need her to explain anything to me because she was not present and I reiterated that there was no one in the waiting area waiting for service but me, and that there was no excuse for the lack of professionalism that I encountered. She referred me to the location for resolution, but that too can be to no avail, especially if the issue rests with mgmt. Anyone expecting to be treated with empathy, humility, and professionalism to say the least need not patronize this location, because you will not get it there. It is my hope that corporate addresses the issue so that people in need of service do not feel the way I felt on more than one occasion.

Almost 3 weeks and still no results
It has been almost 3 weeks since I gave blood for my test. The website says it is in process. I have tried to call 866-697-8378. After waiting on hold for 22 minutes, someone answered, took my information and promptly hung up on me. I tried online through Message Quest and it will not go through. I'm awaiting results to determine treatment.

I visited Quest on Las Tunas Drive in…
I visited Quest on Las Tunas Drive in San Gabriel, California. They contacted me on my phone to go into the clinic 15 mins after my appointment. Waited in the small lobby with 6 other peole for more than 1 hour. Lab work took 30 mins and I left almost 2 hours after my appointment time. WHAT IS THE POINT OF MAKING AN APPOINTMENT?

ENDLESS WAIT. I had to leave without having my blood drawn.
The wait was endless. I checked in and initially the wait was supposed to be 25 minutes. After 20 minutes, the wait time increased to 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I was supposed to be next (5 minutes). 15 minutes later I was still sitting in the waiting area. I had to leave without blood work - other appointments. My doctor wanted this done today.
It’s not the phlebotomist’s fault. Someone who came out after his blood work told me that she was alone trying to cover everything. They didn’t even have a person in the reception area. All around poor customer service. I regret opening an account!

The worst non responsive
The worst non responsive, late, rude customer service. The billing department is even worse, never answering your calls, making mistakes and put you in limbo for several weeks.
