I had an antigen covid test in New Mexico, the result of which was supposed to be available on the app 2 hours later. I received an email to download their app and register, (which I did), however I was never able to access the result, as I could not verify my identity on the system. Reason for this was that I did not have a US national security number, which is still weird, as I was never told that you need to reside in US to get tested for covid! I found out it was impossible to edit my details and put an address outside the US (I used the link provided in the email). It was also not possible to speak to customer services, as it was Saturday past their closing time (1.00 pm) and all I could get was automated responses from the live chat service. The outcome of this was that I had to take another antigen test last minute in the airport, which was at least fast and efficient. The only positive thing was that the staff at Quest was nice and friendly, yet the overall experience was disappointing, loss of time and money.

Walked in, signed in, was told it was a 29 minute wait, that was over 70 minutes ago. Make an appointment or bring a book for a full day field trip

6 days for COVID-19 PCR test results. I used the online question form after four days but got no answer. After six i emailed and a few minutes later the results popped up.

I went to a Plantation, Florida location. The bathroom assigned to take regular urine sample was out of service so I was asked to use the Drug test bathroom and wash my hands outside after.There was no paper towels in the dispenser.When I asked for them the employee answered with attitude they didn’t have them. I asked for the manager and she said there was no manager there, only a team leader. I went to speak with her ( Mika) and her attitude was worst! Don’t go there, choose other lab and if possible other company!

The staff at the Quest Diagnostics were very nice and overall did a good job. I had a first appointment of the day and was surprised to see so many people waiting in line outside the door before they opened. Thankfully they prioritized anyone who had an appointment so my wait time was minimal. What completely shocked me though was the condition of the lab itself. Think prison facilities or 3rd world country, no kidding. Quest is clearly an ultra low budget test house with a focus on drug testing. They are a never again for us, will pay out of pocket and get blood drawn at doctor’s office from now on. Quest should be incredibly embarrassed by the crumbling state of their facilities. I feel so bad for the employees who work there - so depressing.

First time using this lab system my new doctor sent me to. Nice folks at the lab, though surprised they asked for a pre-pay as I have great insurance and usually don't pay for routine lab work during annual exam. I have always received online lab results same day, or the next day at previous doctor/clinic, but now on day five still waiting on them. Routine labs should be much quicker. I got my COVID result in 2 days at another lab, and previous bloodwork six months ago that evening. I am going to ask my doctor to process my labs elsewhere in the future, and if not possible, I will consider another doctor or clinic that doesn't use Quest.

While some aspects of their automation is helpful, the lack of customer service & lack of communication is glaring. Locations have nobody at the front desk to assist with a simple drop off of specimen or answer questions. The physical location is itself automated & dehumanizing. Staff carries on like robots, unwilling to help or answer any questions. “Sign in and wait” is what they tell you in a very programmed manner. I waited 30 minutes to get my labs despite having a specific appointment. Then had to wait another 45 minutes to simply drop off a stool sample.

This place claims to accept walk-ins, so I checked in on their little tablet. Est wait time, 38 minutes, so I waited. It took 78 minutes. What they don't tell you when you check in is that it doesn't matter how long you have been there, if somebody has an appointment, they will be served before you. If the facility is running late, you can wait all day and not get in. Shame on me. I will never use them again, or at least not without an appointment.
