Had an 8 am appointment but the automated receptionist showed me getting in at 10 am I already fasted over 12 hours. Very disappointed with Quest. Too automated. No staff other than phlebotomists I guess. It’s all about profit, not patients!

Will not help correct medical claim! My Dr accidentally put the wrong name on the lab order. It was filed with my insurance and was paid but quest refused to allow me to provide the correct information to receive in network benefits. Tried for 6 months going as far up as they would allow. Saying they would do something then not do it. Please stay far away from this place. Horrible customer service! Won’t correct it because they have to write off the difference instead of me paying. SMH!!

I made an appointment to be sure of having my blood drawn. I had a confirmation code, and not only was it not found (TWO of them), the receptionist clearly didn't care. Let's be honest; No one working at Quest Diagnostics, from technical support to on the ground floor, is paid enough to care. Quest Diagnostics is not incentivized to care, because there are likely no other options. I'd rather go without bloodwork than deal with them again. Ask your doctor if they can do the lab work at the office.

I could not possibly find a company more difficult to pay. The levels of detail and passwords and confirmations needed to give this company $12 online were astounding. And after all of that, there was a $3.99 processing fee added to my bill! When I looked for a customer service resource, again I was given a run-around. I couldn't even reach out to tell them of my displeasure. This is not a company to be trusted. I wish there was a lower rating than one star to assign to them.

This place was absolutely terrible. I was a walk in (which I fully understood that there was going to a long wait time) and patiently waited my turn when I got called in by Carmen who was so incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional. Telling me that there was no script sent over and while I ask if she can call the facility to get the script faxed over because I was having a hard time reaching them, rudely said that they’re going to do the same thing to me. I understand that but she had no desire to help me then I had to run to my car to see if I had the physical copy and when I came back she said that I am wasting her time and I was so lazy that I couldn’t get the hard copy and of course I went back at her as I am a healthcare professional I could NEVER in my right mind EVER speak to a patient like that. I said she was being unprofessional, unhelpful and rude and she snapped back saying that I was and that it was my fault that I chose to be a walk in rather than having a appointment which I didn’t even mind waiting versus people that had appointments who were freaking out the whole time time I was waiting. I understand they were short staff but to call a patient lazy, wasting her time and unprofessional is actually disturbing. What if I was a elderly or disabled patient who had the same issues ? It’s absolutely appalling and I will never go back to quest and will tell all my patients to never come to this unprofessional place. So disgusting.

I tried to drop off a urine specimen and they wouldn't accept it. You have to make an appointment or wait until after all of the other people having blood drawn. So, after two hours they got to me, and I had a huge parking ticket waiting on my windshield. This is crazy. They should deal with pick ups and drop offs quickly and not make people wait.

Simply horrific customer interaction....They do not accept digital referrals, who doesn't have that capability ? But they do for insurance....wonder why ? I made an appointment, yet they refused my referral.....had it with me. Ok, but why so rude and disrespectful ? They treat you as if they are paying you, not the other way around. You gotta be kidding me. If you want lousy customer service, go to Quest... otherwise go to LabCorp. Much more civil customer experience. You'll be glad you did.

Location Quest Diagnostics west Main Street Waterbury CT: I have been going to Quest for 23 years and the service here has gone down the tubes. Let’s just say if you do not have an appointment don’t go here. I signed in as a walk in/ which they now call a stand by at 6am, I waited an hour to see if no one showed so I can get in; both 6:50am appointments did not show and they did not call me in, instead they started taking the 7:00am appointments at 7:10am. Come on quest you can do better! If you don’t except walk ins, just get rid of the option. So If you are diabetic and have too fast for your blood work, book an appointment. My doctor will now give me an earful when I go to my appointment. Thank you Quest!
