I applied for financing through Pursuit Lending and found the experience disappointing. Communication was limited, responses were often brief, and I did not receive the level of clarity I expected during such an important process. When questions came up, I did not feel I was given clear or detailed explanations about the status of the application or the reasoning behind certain decisions. That made the process more frustrating than it needed to be. In my opinion, a lender handling SBA-related financing should provide more transparency, better follow-up, and clearer communication throughout the process.

Do not waste your time David & Paolo handled the long request; although they were responsive, they both gave attitude at each email. We were a couple of week in, and it was simple and clean underwriting. It seemed like an easy process. It was going well. It seemed like it was done. And to figure it out, they are not qualified to underwrite, so if you run your own business, they will not fund you and look for ridiculous excuses around every turn. We continuously gathered answers and supporting documents. I got annoyed at a point that they were just constantly asking for documents that made no sense. I need your YTD. Here is your YTD. I need all Bank Statements. Here are your statements. I need YTD BS & P&L. OK here you go. Then over the week they needed all updated information for no reason. I stated you can approve the loan, and I will supply the documents. There is enough information to approve or deny. David gave me an attitude at the end, and honestly, we were going with another bank after the sassy email about why I was following up. However, after his last email, I want to make sure borrowers are prepared that it is not a good process and they are not there to help you at all.
