H. J. Pugh is a well known auction company that been around for years, and has a good reputation. The charges imposed on the auction lots are fair and clear. I recently purchased a Merlo telehandler from one of their online auctions, and it was delivered a few days later. The charge for delivery was reasonable. Unfortunately the seller had not informed the auction house about the various issues this machine had. This resulted in a machine that would not start and could not even be unloaded. Apparently this does not often happen but in this circumstance, I was fully refunded. Despite the aggro and disappointment of not having this machine, I am very happy with H. J. Pugh for being so reasonable and fair-minded, and I will continue to do business with them as required.
