It sucks I sent in cards and got horrible grades! I keep them in excellent condition and one got a three and one got a five. I looked at the card that got a three it was it perfect condition no scratches creases or any defects of any kind and somehow the card got a three?!? Makes no sense would not recommend

DON'T USE PSA if you're a regular consumer you'll get screwed on grading versus the big business collector's
I joined the Collectors Club Membership for $100 thinking that PSA would be the "defacto" standard for grading my top conditioned cards that I own after looking at them with a 40x magnification loupe, using the accessibility magnification on an iPhone along with using various lighting to detect surface and edge defects, along with centering tools to make sure the submissions were "on point" to receive PSA 8–10's.
I also have to mention that I have a printing and paper science background with a background in archival/archiving best practices so I understand what's necessary for detecting quality defects for printing and substrate/paper conditions.
I ran a couple of rounds of 20 grades (40 cards) by them to see how things went and I can tell that they don't grade very well, lots of 5-8's (4–PSA-5's, 8–PSA-6's, 8–PSA-7's, 13–PSA-8's) and very minimal (4) PSA-9's and (4) PSA-10's.
Many of these PSA-5's through PSA-8's were graded too low. I know this because I ran through a couple of previously Beckett graded 10's, 9's and 8.5's that came back at least 2 grades lower by PSA (as 6's and 7's) after properly cracking the cases, taking out the card then re-submitting as a fresh grade versus a crossover grade. So how can this be?
I've come to the realization and pretty certain that the folks who have higher account statuses/memberships and actually do lots of business and pay the higher prices that are big name collectors, most likely get the higher grades and the regular consumers get much lower grades because they don't bring PSA as much business.
I know this because of the huge difference in grading between Beckett and PSA and I also know this because when I sent a message regarding the poor grades, the service rep suggested I pay $40 a card for a re-grade that includes the new procedure of including grader's notes on top of the Value Bulk $20 per card that I already paid under my Collector's Club Membership, soooooooooo.... you want me to spend more money to argue the grade that ALSO includes grader notes. Shouldn't grader notes be standard, how hard can that be to include them and you want me to spend more money, what so I can potentially get a higher grade.
If this isn't enough proof that PSA isn't a scam and too big of a business with subjective and bias practices that has monopolized the market because their grades pan out the highest ROI, then that should tell you all not to give them your money and use another vendor or use a collector service that does lots of business in order to get the correct grades from PSA.

Lack of Accountability and Zero Transparency
PSA messed up my recent submission, misclassifying my entire 25-card 1930 WD & HO Wills Golfers set as N4 “Questionable Authenticity.” This was part of a larger 300-card order with a total grading fee of $6,000. Despite providing detailed supporting materials—including original packaging (the cards came in the original cigarette boxes) and photos—I received no meaningful explanation for the N4 designation.
I even offered to pay extra to have a few cards resubmitted at a higher grading tier where grader notes are provided, but got nothing in return.
After several attempts to escalate the issue and present additional evidence, PSA continued to hide behind generic customer service responses. The lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable.
I pointed out that it would take only two minutes to prove the cards were inauthentic. I would have accepted a close-up scan showing differences in print stock, paper quality, or font, and I would have willingly eaten the grading fee (they charged me $500 to label 25 cards as N4 at $20 per card).
I’ve been a loyal PSA customer and have probably spent nearly $100k on grading over the past 10 years. However, once I get the rest of my order back, I’m cancelling my PSA membership and switching to SGC. I know they have the same owners, but it can’t possibly be worse elsewhere.

Scam
Scam. Another poverty pogrom apocalypse pandemic revolution company. You can't grade your card if you're poor and it's worth a lot. If you have a very valuable card worth over 1 million, you have to pay $7,999 to grade it, otherwise they'll say it's a fake and put it in your budget tier "membership" bracket member grading level. And if you were planning to take that card to a convention center show, same thing. You have to print the submission form along with a $7,999 membership level card value bracket payment. Same with the rest. If you got a card, or a stock, and need authentication, sell raw as is with microscopic and lab tests and don't settle for brain meld cookie aftermath outcomes. Grading, they'll bargain drain the value of your card(s) and put your card along with those hot sausage apocalypse bottom forearm finality gratification values and the card will lose value after people find out what happened to the cardholders before, how they all were with it before during all of it, and they'll all lose interest in it after after seeing how everyone was with it when they looking forward to selling it graded with a PSA hologram sticker.

Was a great company under Joe Orlando
Was a great company under Joe Orlando. Then the money misers took over. Absolute joke of a company now. As stated below, there is absolutely no consistency. I have taken many cards that got poor grades, resubmitted and received different grades. Now how could that be? Thinking of reporting them to the FBI for investigation. FRAUDS!

PSA is a scam
PSA is a scam! I sent 2 Kirby Puckett autographed baseball cards in for authentication. I knew they were authentic because I got the autographs from Kirby myself as a kid when I used to go to twins games. After waiting 2 months and charging me $90, PSA said their grading experts concluded they were not authentic! When I inquired about it they stuck to their findings and refused to refund my $90. Do not give PSA your business!!!

i've made some big mistakes in my life…
i've made some big mistakes in my life but this is the biggest.
I figured I would try this company out for my Pokemon card and since this was the first time I've done this; I followed the instructions they provided to the letter.
They received my card on August 30, 2024 and as of September 11, 2024, my order wasn't entered so I emailed them.
They responded with, in my words, we'll get to it when we get to it.
You only get one chance to make a good first impression.
NEVER AGAIN!!
