In a panic, I contacted Prompt on Thanksgiving Day for my daughter who needed guidance with her college essays. My daughter was on an extremely tight deadline and she needed a coach who could review and provide quick feedback during the long holiday weekend. And I'm thrilled to say Prompt and more specifically, Heather Vaughan, my daughter's writing coach, came through! She was absolutely brilliant! Heather provided positive, thoughtful and constructive feedback. When my daughter's stress levels and anxiety reached an all time high, Heather quickly arranged a meeting and got my daughter back on track. After their discussion, my daughter was motivated and able to reach the finish line with enthusiasm and drive. Regardless of the colleges' final acceptance decisions, I highly recommend Prompt's services and writing coach, Heather Vaughan! Prompt's online platform was excellent - thoughtful exercises to brainstorm essay ideas, very user friendly, and made deadlines easy to see and organize. I wish I had enrolled my daughter for their services sooner.

I am impressed by the amazing turnaround time and punctual nature of Prompt's work. The experience was very very helpful for my son. Honor would ask really pointed questions to dig deeper on his content and empower him to write genuine essays that were true to his voice and experiences. I found Prompt right before the EA deadline and used 2 video sessions to fix my Common App essay. Then I used the 6-hour turnaround for all of my EA supplements. The feedback was positive and actionable. There were questions prompting me to improve certain sections, giving me a clear plan for what to do next. I liked that there was a different editor each time. They read the essay without any prior knowledge of who I am, just like an admissions officer will. I also really liked the rubric, which was a good indicator for how I was doing and where to improve. The team was very responsive and helpful!

Prior to working with Prompt, I had reviewed quite a few drafts of my personal statement and I just didn't really feel confident in them. With Mina, we re-brainstormed the essay to hone my ideas into how I wanted to present myself. The process was really effective guidance. I learned so much beyond college essays. From learning how to position my idea more clearly to bringing out my voice, I became a stronger writer. Once we figured that out, my ideas kept flowing for the rest of my essays. Mina and I had more of a connection as she understood my ideas because of our shared culture and heritage. She was very accommodating and patient as I got her feedback on many different drafts with different ideas. One of the best things was that she taught me how to adapt my content to more than one essay. Lastly, I want to thank the Prompt team who helped give us feedback on really short notice even when Mina wasn't available.

The process was really fun. I initially started with a first draft that I have been working on for a month. After the call with Mina (my essay advisor), I realized the draft needed a lot of work and I was nervous about the whole college process. Thanks to Mina, I was really excited to write. I had a lot of fun conversations getting to know her and understand her own college experiences. Her advice was always really really good. She really knew what I wanted to communicate even though I had a hard time visualizing it on paper. She was great at putting herself in my shoes and guide me on how to frame my essays. Beyond that, the Action Plan documents were really effective and helped me take my ideas as outlines to write rough drafts. I also really appreciate Prompt's software which helped me organize all of the essays I needed to write and keep track of my drafts. Each iteration under Prompt's is very accessible.

I really enjoyed working with Honor! Her feedback was very specific and helped strengthen my writing with new ideas. Overall, I learned a lot not only about content and grammar rules, but I was able to go in-depth about my academic interests including music theory. I came out a more confident writer with a stronger understanding of essay structures, flows, and how to write in my own style to ensure my authentic voice comes across. Everything worked very seamlessly, and I would strongly recommend using Prompt's highly skilled and professional services!
