Live class was great, and web portal even better. Options available for every kind of learner. Made learning a large amount of very specific information digestible, and even at times, fun.

I had no knowledge of the PMBOK prior to signing up. Between the website with great videos and questions as well as the 4-day boot camp, I was able to prepare for the exam and pass in less than two weeks after the class. I would recommend to any future candidates.

I have been in Program Management with the US DoD for 30 years, but finally decided to get certified. I took the assessment before beginning the PMA PMP boot camp course, and scored only 43 - this was a direct result of the terminology rather than the content evolving during my time as a working manager. After completing the boot camp (an enjoyable and educational week) I immediately with no other preparation took a practice exam and scored an 80. I followed the areas-of-study guide for four days, and took / passed the exam that same week. There is no arguing with success - take the PMA class if you want to ensure passing the PMP.

The excellent instruction and supporting materials from Project Management Academy helped me to successfully pass the PMP exam on the first try. The boot camp instructor, Jim Stewart, knew the material inside and out, had a great sense of humor, and managed to keep the class interesting. He did a great job of answering questions and providing insight regarding topics to pay special attention to. The CBT videos, quizzes, and practice exams on the PMA website were also a huge help. I was extremely satisfied with the training. The trainer was fantastic. I have just passed the PMP exam and it was a breeze to study after a good solid 4-day training program and all the study-aids provided.

My overall experience with PMA was great. I believe it is the reason I passed my test (on the first try). I think anyone who doesn't take FULL advantage of your website between registration for the Boot Camp and the camp itself is shorting themselves. I did the three timed exams and did the Q&A questions over and over and over and over... My couple of minor items: - I expected the Boot Camp to be more focused on preparing for the test, not an overview of the 47 processes (which I had done few times on my own before the class). I was expecting more "this is what to expect, this should be your approach/strategy" kind of info. But with that said, because I did come to the class fairly well prepared, the class was helpful in providing some A-HA! moments that provided more clarity. - I attended the class in Irvine at the Courtyard Marriott. For $1900, you should either a) provide lunch or b) hold the class at a location that has an onsite restaurant. Sending students out to get lunch at noon in Irvine with all the businesses in the area is a true time constraint and not a good break from all the work we are doing in the class. Thank you.

This is a very targeted course designed to get the applicant to gain a through understanding the PMP course material and of what is required to pass the PMP exam. The course material is presented in a power point format that effectively highlights the keys of the subject matter. Highly recommend this course.
