Took the July 2018 class in Oklahoma City with John D. Not only was John was extremely knowledgeable and efficient in his presentation of the materials during the 4-day course, he continued to make himself available afterward. The PMA course materials (slides, practice problems, practice exams, and videos), prescribed study plan and additional resources (question bank, flash cards, etc.) were top notch for exam preparation both on content - in my opinion the PMA practice questions were more difficult than the exam - and the test taking experience. I felt fully prepared for absolutely every step of the process right down to test center logistics AND the actual exam interface since PMA's practice test functions the same as the exam itself. I passed on my first attempt, well above target in all five domains. I highly recommend PMA for anyone seeking project management certification.

I utilized the practice exams, the tutoring, flash cards, book of exercises, quizzes, and the bootcamp training for PMP certification. All were awesome products and helped me to achieve my goal of passing the PMP exam last week. The instructor was dead on correct in saying how long it would take for me to prepare for the exam. I recommend the live in person class experience. The free tutoring sessions were quite helpful as well.

Since I am looking for a new job in the current competing market, I decided on getting the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. After analyzing the relevant training providers in the Houston area, I chose Project Management Academy as my best training option to get this certification in the shortest time and at a competitive price. Nowadays, after passing the PMP exam in the first attempt and 6 weeks after the training course, I can say that PMA was indeed my best choice. I am very thankful and would like to acknowledge the excellent job done by Dan Garza and the rest of the PMA team.

This was a great course. I felt so much better prepared for the exam after attending, as well as the confidence to tackle the 200 questions ahead of me. Overall, the hotel could be improved as It was very dated and though there was parking available, the garages were tight and filled up quickly. However It got the job done and the lunch views over the river were nice. The course is very quick, 4 days jam packed with information. I felt like I was at an advantage as I had already studied and read the PMBOK. Nevertheless, this course is what I had to thank for passing my exam!

Project Management Academy provided me 4-day boot camp (July, 2018) which instructed by Michael A. Giacalone, helping us to pass PMP exam within 35 days at first time. Michael is very patient to solve our question and cover all materials within 4 days. Moreover, he shares his past real PM experience with us and make this class more "practical" and assist us to combine work experience with theory. I have learned a lot of knowledge as well as tip in this intensive/productive class. What I also love Project Management Academy is their material (both printed and online), which is very organized and highlight all the key points we shall pay attention on it. You can watch all tutorial video on their portal site and remind any course you want to cover. Their timed mock exam (easy) and in-course exam (difficult) help you identify your weakness which requires your further study. The tuition is pretty much the same as other on-site institution ($1.6K~$1.8K), but cheaper than course that UM offers. I highly recommend to take their on-site course, rather than other provider which provide video for you to learn by yourself.

The program that PMA setup is wonderful. I mean all the resources from the workbooks to the videos to the study guides and more were great tools to help me prepare and then pass the exam.

Highly recommend the Project Management Academy PMP Boot Camp. I attended the May 2018 class instructed by John D. This class enabled me to pass the PMP the first time. The course material is well organized and highlights key PMP exam focus areas. The online modules and practice tests definitely helped identify study areas needing additional study and review.
