The training for the PMP Exam was configured and presented in a consistent manner for each section. Due to the amount of content included in the course, many sections were completed very quickly and could have benefited from additional time. The coursework is specifically focused on passing the exam. The presentation directly followed the course materials. The instructor predominantly followed the presentation materials, but was able to add some examples and answer some questions regarding the material. Explanations of correct answers for the practice questions conducted during the class were most valuable. Access to the PMBOK guidebook was very valuable in learning course material. Training covered some topics that are not included in the PMBOK, which was also very helpful in studying for the exam. The best benefit was access to the online study materials, such as practice exams, flash cards, guided questions. The practice exams are similar to the questions on the PMP Exam, so were most valuable in preparing for the exam.

Instructor was excellent. However I feel the course was slightly misrepresented. For this course to add any meaningful value you really need to have spent some time with the PMBOK and the PMP world before the class. PMA tells you that you do not need the text or any other prep work before the class - not true. If you can at least watch all the videos on their website and spend some time learning the basics this class will be better for you than someone that walks in cold.
