We are incredibly grateful to Sam Luby for the steady and sound guidance that he offered throughout the college search process. Our son really benefited from having someone like Sam to bounce ideas off, and Sam listened and advised him so well. One of the most valuable parts of working with Coach Sam Luby was his guidance throughout my deliberation process regarding medicine and choosing between the UK and US pathways as an international student. He gave very detailed, honest, and personalized advice about both systems, helping me understand the realities, opportunities, and long-term implications of each option rather than giving generic recommendations. What especially stood out was how approachable and supportive he was throughout the entire process. He always took the time to answer my questions and genuinely cared about helping me make the decision that best aligned with my goals and interests. Ultimately, his guidance helped me feel much more confident in my choices, and with his support on college strategy and applications, I was fortunate enough to be accepted into many of my top-choice universities. Before working with Mr. Sam Luby, I had little to no knowledge about university applications or the UK application process. Working with him throughout my university journey was extremely valuable and helped me feel much more confident and prepared. One of the biggest ways he helped me was through guidance on UK university applications. He explained the system clearly, helped me understand the differences between universities and courses, and gave practical advice on choosing options that matched my goals and interests. The deliberation process was especially helpful because it encouraged me to carefully think through my decisions instead of rushing them. Mr. Luby also provided strong support with preparation overall, from discussing personal statements and application strategy to helping me stay organized with deadlines and requirements. His advice was always thoughtful, realistic, and encouraging, which made the process far less overwhelming. Because of his support and preparation guidance, I was able to secure positive outcomes in my applications, including receiving offers from universities in the UK. More importantly, I now feel much more informed and confident about my future academic path. I’m very grateful for the time, effort, and support he gave throughout the process, and I would strongly recommend his guidance to other students preparing for university applications.

As someone who initially found the process of applying to universities very intimidating, working with Prepory was a truly incredible experience that helped me get over that fear. Through this program, I managed to get into several top universities, most significantly UC San Diego--one of my dream colleges. Of course, I must thank my coach Shirley for massively helping me over this past year. Without her patience and guidance, I most likely would not have gotten as far as I have.
