A life-changing experience Prepory was genuinely life-changing, and I could not be happier with my experience. My coach, Taylor Piva, went beyond anything I expected from an advisor. Taylor was honest, encouraging, insightful, and incredibly kind throughout every step of the graduate school application process. She guided me through program selection, personal statement and essay writing, résumé organization, interview preparation, and everything in between. With her help, I was able to build a strong, compelling application that ultimately led to my acceptance into Chemistry PhD programs. Throughout this process, Taylor was steady and compassionate. She believed in me, pushed me when I needed it, and supported me when I doubted myself. I truly cannot imagine having gone through this process without her guidance and support. Working with Taylor and Prepory made all the difference, and I am grateful for the impact it has had on my academic and personal journey. If you are considering Prepory, I could not recommend them more.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Prepory. Anna was absolutely incredible. She was consistently responsive, thoughtful, and deeply invested in my success. No matter how many questions I had—or how many times I wanted to revise my Statement of Purpose (and yes, I rewrote it 10+ times!)—she was ready and willing to do it with me. Anna was endlessly encouraging, supportive, and patient. Her flexibility with scheduling and her willingness to accommodate my timeline made such a difference during what can be a very overwhelming process. Beyond her professionalism, Anna was simply a kind and lovely presence throughout the entire journey. She felt less like an advisor and more like a genuine mentor and friend. I felt like I matched with someone who truly understood my goals and believed in me—sometimes even more than I believed in myself. I’m thrilled to be starting my History PhD at UC Berkeley this fall straight out of undergrad, and I genuinely could not have done it without Anna and Prepory’s guidance. I still feel like I’m on a freight train that just keeps moving forward—in the best possible way! If you’re considering working with Prepory, I wholeheartedly recommend them. I’m so grateful for the experience and for the incredible support!

Prepory was terrific for our son. McKenzie specifically was an excellent tutor, met him where he was, identified key areas of focus and strengths for him, and look to match him with the right school that he was excited about. This all came together very well as our son got into his first choice of schools. I would highly recommend them as a college prep counselor.

As a parent, I greatly appreciate that Prepory focuses on finding the best school for the individual student, with an emphasis on identifying their strengths and goals. The approach is extremely organized, with discussion topics and assignments that build upon each other and guide the student toward well-written essays and well-crafted applications. My daughter has a wonderful coach, who is very upbeat and encouraging. Working with her has made a very stressful process feel manageable.

Very helpful and also very kind, helped me get into my dream university

The team worked consistently and steadfastly with my daughter. They pushed her to make her own well informed decisions and construct an application that was unique to her. They were always patient and dealt very kindly with me when I became stressed. Her first choice school was a reach, and they helped achieve this goal. She was accepted immediately!

Prepory has been so extremely helpful in my college process. Especially Olivia. I started talking to her around 2 years before I had to apply to college and she helped me tremendously not only to build a competitive profile but also to feel confident in myself. With her help I developed many new extracurriculars, realised the importance of grades, found universities that fit me, and developed my writing skills. Every time I was nervous about the process I was reassured. Being able to have access to continuous feedback on my profile not only from my coach Olivia but from an entire team who has had experience in admissions was very helpful. In the end, thanks to Olivia and Prepory, I got admitted into my top choice in December. Overall, I'm very grateful that I was part of the students that were being coached by Prepory and hope that anyone looking to get into a great college uses them aswell (I will definitely recommend to friends and family).

As a parent of an international student. This was definitely a leap of faith. I dont regret it, and recommend Prepory to any family that wants a hands on, driven consultant group. Definitely worth every penny!
