ABSOLUTE FRAUD - AVOID AT ALL COSTS
ABSOLUTE FRAUD. Two different gift cards from two different family members showing a ten cent balance. I have two separate family members that spent their money on gift cards from this institution within a month. In both cases, the cards were supposed to have a $25 balance. I literally opened up the cards from their original packaging, registered the card on their janky website only to find someone else had registered them and depleted all but ten cents from the balance. Customer service was worthless: They needed to talk to the "original cardholder" (which is me, but the website is showing a different person in another state - I googled this person and they don't show up on google as a human in existence.) They wanted me to FAX A COPY OF MY DRIVERS LICENSE along with images of the gift card in order to dispute the charges. A company committing fraud wants me to send them a fax of my drivers license! RIGHT! Screw this company - they are either intentionally committing fraud or they are grossly negligent to fraudulent activity affecting their cards and not able to prevent it from happening.
