PreobookReviews of preobook.com

Found the textbook I needed for class on this site - although it was unrelated to agriculture. It was significantly cheaper than paying elsewhere so I bought it. Immediately received the book via email to download, however, it was from Dropbox and was shared via a random persons name. My bank statement showed I was charged “LP*uptopshopping HK” and was charged a fee because this was an international transaction. I then freaked out and looked into it. From their website, the phone number is fake and the address is to a residential house/area. This site and what you pay to is obviously international and a scam. I cancelled my debit card just in case and reported the site. I’m only giving 2 stars because I did receive the book and it appears to be legit.

I got the full pdf for cheap but it still seems like a really sketchy site. My credit card made me verify the purchase. so far so good...I have no idea how this company got this many books for so cheap, makes ya wonder

Got as far as checkout only to discover they are all ebooks despite description saying paperback on all I chose.

Was skeptical due to the reviews BUT my book was only $6 and some change so I figured if I do get scammed, I’m only out $6 bucks. Used a card I don’t usually use just in case something weird happened. Paid for the book and it ended up being an ebook which is great. They immediately sent me the book on Dropbox and I was able to do my homework.

Def a scam. Called the 840-208-0124 and it goes to voicemail saying this is number barn, park ur unused numbers… emailed and no response. Paid for book and did not receive anything, not even shows a receipt! Looked up address n it’s an old hz!

Update I went ahead and bought the ebook and it was fine — it was complete — I was sent a pdf. It was high quality pdf. The website description of what books they sell is unrelated to the actual topic. So while it seemed fishy, in my case, I got a $75 dollar workbook for substantially less as a pdf. CAUTION I did not order but the domain name is fishy and due to expire, and the textbook listing shows 18 copies dirt cheap of a book totally unrelated to its description.

I wouldn't recommend this site becasue: 1. This site shows it's a agriculture-related site, however it sells textbook, that doesn't make sense 2. I saw their ads on google shopping and I placed an order last week, but I haven't received any email from them yet. 3. Nobody has never replied my email !!
