While this training platform features an organized structure, the curriculum lacks the real-world application necessary for professional growth. For instance, the Power BI training uses pre-formatted excel income statements. In reality, data professionals must build these financial reports from raw general ledger logs and transaction dates. There is no pre-format income statement. If you already have the Income Statement, why would you go to Power BI and build an Income Statement? The trainers obviously lack of industry knowledge due to their backgrounds in academic and social science such as psychology, social worker, and teachers. This lack of real world experience show in Power Platform trainings as well. I do not recommend Pragmatic Works. In my experience, utilizing this training platform has been highly frustrating and a poor investment of both time and money.
