I have attended CDP and CDE from practical DevSecOps and my experience was very impressive. Regarding CDP, it is totally recommended for beginners as it gives you hands-on learning through practice. It also teaches you the concepts of DevSecOps from scratch even if you are a complete beginner. The CDE is a great resource for advanced concepts as Imran has put a lot of his real-world experience into the course along with very good hands-on exercises to test what you're learning. I wish the CDE videos were shorter and indexed to make it easier for students to watch and return to if they want to. The exam was not easy in two courses especially the CDE one. you have to manage your time well and take advantage of every minute. Also, you should not limit yourself to course exercises and try what you have learned in different scenarios AMAP. Many thanks to Practical DevSecOps team for great content, support, and flexibility.

It was a very educational certification process.

Very extensive coverage of the subject on threat modeling techniques which is particularly useful to identify security weaknesses in application system security-by-design. I must say the exam is extremely challenging and really useful to reinforce and affirm what was taught and the knowledge I have acquired through the online course.

As an intermediate course, CDP has met its objectives. The course is easy to follow with succinct explanation in videos and in lab materials. For deeper understanding and more advance knowledge, I suppose one can try out their CDE course instead. Highly recommended for professionals who wish to have a taste of DevSecOps. I would also like to thank Raj and his team for the great effort and communications for professionals to onboard their platform to learn DevSecOps.

Prior to take this course, I am new to kubernetes. During this course it giving me opportunity to learn kubernetes and also on how to securing it. It did provide me the fundamental understanding about kubernetes. On securing it, the lab giving me opportunity to follow step by step and provide various alternative of tools.

Online labs are great. If you are new to DevSecOps, it can be quite difficult to get your own lab to play with (GitLab, Defect Dojo, etc). Practical DevSecOps give you access to all of this in your browser, which is very intuitive and easy. Lectures cover all necessary topics, so you understand why you are doing all of those things.
