Here's the plus points for me: The learning experience was fantastic. Great support staff with the communications on the course. An all inclusive lab and learning that can be done from a browser. Lab solutions were clear and concise. The course content provided a good breadth of topic and suitable for beginner to devsecops. Hands-on exam through lab challenge and report writing which reinforces the concepts. Room for improvement: Support and chatroom is through slack. A bit of manual process via email for selecting start date of course. Continuous running time for the labs access. Would be great to be able to pause it maybe after the exam to have a break before going through the remaining optional labs.

Great Labs. Great Workshop. And Exam is harder than i thought.

I genuinely enjoyed the practical aspect of this course, it made the learning experience more engaging and fun. What made the CDP course a great one? The course creators have done a good job in introducing the foundations required to understand DevSecOps principles such as linux, docker and ci/cd basics then slowly building up the content to tackle the core concepts of devsecops. There is no prior knowledge required to be able to take the course, making it is suitable for any software professional. The content builds up gradually making it easy to follow. The course offers very in depth content on securing the sdlc pipeline, and provides links and resources to do further reading. There is great Q&A support on the slack channels when you encounter difficulties. What could be better? The course could offer more challenge questions, I find that the step by step guided labs did not open up enough room for the student to learn concepts on their own. I would suggest that the course should also require students to submit solutions for extra mile challenge questions before being able to mark the task as complete. The process of getting feedback should also be more seamless. i.e enable students to ask questions on the lab portal using a chat feature that can push notifications to slack instead having to copy and paste questions on slack.

Good labs, lots of good info to get you going with practical examples. Only caveat is the somewhat lengthy examination process.

Learnt a lot about DevSecOps. Great exam challenges to round off the learning process

The course is quite extensive and well structured, so you definitely get a bang for the buck. On the downside: its 2022 and its not possible to have umlauts in your name for the certificate!? Bummer!

The course was knowledgeable and worth attending. Lab service was nifty as well. The exam process was disappointing after the course impressed. The certification process was cumbersome and unnecessarily long. I recommend the company review some ways to introduce automation into their exam process.

The Professional DevSecOps 3 day course was very efficient in preparing me for the Certified DevSecOps Profession (CDP) exam. The instruction started out at a level easy enough for everyone to understand, and backed up discussions with labs. The lab environment was EXCELLENT. The labs were able to provide all the details needed to understand how the test was to be executed, as well as provide a trial & error environment for me to test out various details. This was by far the best aspect of the class. Additionally, having access to the course lecture slides was invaluable. Anything I did not catch in the course, or needed a refresher on was available to me. Both the recorded lecture and virtual lab environment made the course WELL worth it, and made success on the 12 hour test achievable.
