Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We want to take a moment to clarify the situation. Our warranty terms are clearly outlined and always available here: https://powerengines.com/pages/warranty The initial issue reported was an engine knock. When we asked for supporting information, we were then told the engine was seized, and the photos provided showed that the engine had already been disassembled with the head being removed from the lower end and parts removed. As noted in our warranty, disassembly or permanent modifications void coverage. We sell complete engine assemblies, and if the engine had remained intact as it was purchased from us, we would have been more than willing to exchange it. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept or warranty an engine once it has been taken apart. We understand how frustrating this situation can be, and our intention is never to leave a customer feeling unheard. We do our best to be consistent and fair while standing by the terms that apply to everyone. We appreciate the opportunity to explain our side and hope to work together again in the future.

Hello, We feel this review is misleading, as we stand 100% behind our products and our clearly stated terms and conditions, which are agreed to prior to purchase. Unfortunately, the item was not installed by an ASE-certified shop, which voids the warranty per our policy. Despite this, we still made every effort to work with you and provide possible resolutions for the concerns you reported. Our last communication took place prior to the Christmas holidays, at which time we presented several resolution options. You indicated you would take time during the holidays to decide how you wished to proceed and would follow up with us. We did not hear back until this review was posted. We remain committed to assisting you in the spirit of resolution and are still open to working with you if you choose to move forward. In your case, the refund process became complicated because a chargeback had been filed with your bank and the card account was later closed. Until the bank completed their review and confirmed the status of the dispute, we were unable to issue a refund through any method — including a check — as required by our payment processor. Once we received the final confirmation from the bank, we moved forward with the resolution as quickly as possible. Hello, thanks for your feedback. We value you as a customer. Unfortunately as per our terms and conditions, sometimes, depending on the application, you will have to replace the accessories on our engine with your originals (this may include timing cover, valve cover, oil pan etc.)

We fully honor our warranty as outlined in our terms and conditions, which are provided with every purchase, included in the packaging, and agreed upon at checkout. After careful review, management determined that the warranty claim could not be approved due to aftermarket performance modifications made to the engine. This included cold air intakes and other upgrades, which were confirmed by your mechanic, Oldsmar Auto. As clearly stated in the “Exclusions and Automatic Voids” section of our warranty, any performance upgrades or modifications will void coverage. We value your business and truly understand your frustration. However, we must stand by our policies to ensure fairness and consistency for all customers. Thank you for your understanding.
