Truly an incredible experience. Alice is an expert at teaching you how to move/pose so that you look natural. She lets you see the photos in real time so that you can adjust her process! Overall just great!

Incredible experience. Alice is a total pro. Enjoyed the photoshoot and love my new professional headshot.

We had the most incredible experience working with Alice (Portrait Madame) for our photoshoot in Dumbo, Brooklyn. From the very beginning, she was warm, professional, and genuinely invested in making us feel comfortable and seen. Her radiant energy immediately put us at ease; this ease and comfort truly shines through in the final images. She has this rare ability to create a space where you can soften, be yourself, and just glow naturally in front of the camera. Alice captured not just me and my partner, but also our pet, Boseman. She interacted with him with patience, creativity, and care. The photos feel alive, intimate, and beautifully composed. Beyond the shoot itself, Alice was incredibly timely in her communication and so accommodating with editing requests. She made the entire process feel collaborative and seamless from start to finish. I can’t recommend Alice (Portrait Madame) highly enough. If you’re looking for a photographer who combines talent, professionalism, and a truly special presence, she’s the one to choose for any of your photography needs.

I booked a session with Portrait Madame to celebrate turning 50 so I could look back on this time of my life for years to come. Firstly, the actual session was so wonderful. We had different outfits and looks, which Alice was able to match with different backdrops to suit the mood and feel. I felt totally comfortable throughout the photo shoot. In fact, to be honest, I felt fabulous, and I don't usually feel comfortable in front of a camera at all! But Alice put me at ease and made it feel like just a fun girls' day out. When I saw the images I was blown away. I cried. She captured ME! The most fabulous version of me too! So many people have commented on how stunning they are. I love that I have these images to remember such a wonderful time in my life. Thank you Alice.

Alice has been part of our family’s story for many years, capturing some of our most meaningful moments, from professional portraits to family photos and couple sessions. Each session with her is much more than a photo shoot, it’s a beautiful experience that brings us closer together. Alice has a unique gift for creating an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and truly themselves. These moments become opportunities to reconnect, laugh, and celebrate. Our most recent session was for our 20th anniversary, and once again it felt magical and deeply intimate. It was a special moment to celebrate our love, surrounded by an incredible team (Alice, her assistant, and the makeup artist/hairdresser) who made the whole experience feel special. Alice guides you every step of the way, offering thoughtful advice before and during the session. She has a rare talent for capturing emotions, family bonds, and professional identity in the most natural and elegant way. Alice is a fairy who transforms moments into lasting memories.

Working with Alice was a wonderful experience. I’m comfortable in front of the camera, but what truly impressed me was her ability to capture my essence in a way that felt both elevated and deeply authentic. She understood the nuance between my professional and personal brand and translated that seamlessly through her lens. The entire process felt intentional, collaborative, and easy. I’m so grateful for her vision and talent, the results speak for themselves. Highly recommend.

Working with Alice was such a wonderful and personalized experience! I had been looking to take a new corporate headshot and found Alice and her work online. I knew she would be perfect given the personalized touch and all of the detail and care she provided both before the shoot and during. From the moment we connected on my consult call she went above and beyond. I even needed one photo rushed for the start of my new job and she was able to provide within 12 hours! Alice asked thoughtful questions about my new job and each photo we took was designed to bring out exactly the qualities I wanted to portray. I would absolutely recommend Portrait Madame and look forward to working with Alice again in the future!

I had an amazing experience working with Alice of Portrait Madame this year. I was looking for a portrait photographer to shoot headshots that I could use across multiple platforms, but I wanted to ensure that the photos captured my personality while still looking professional and warm. I know many headshot photographers and while some are good at corporate and some are good at lifestyle, but Alice is good at whatever you are aiming for! I believe it's because of her process. The session feels very relaxed and natural. It seems like you're with an old friend and the results are evident in the work. When I got my gallery of shots, I had a really hard time choosing! I then went to my social media platforms, both Linked In, Instagram, and Facebook, and asked my friends and followers. Even there, I found no clear cut winner! Everyone liked different shots for different reasons. Ultimately, I was able to choose a few beautiful portraits that spoke to me. I would HIGHLY recommend Alice because of the quality of work she does and because of how easy it is to work with her! I will recommend her to all of my friends, colleagues, and clients!
