i ordered this back in June. they excepted payment, on Aug 19th. and I have been trying to reach them ever since, no answer, on any lines, and if you call you get hung up on. I have no choice except to contest it with my credit card co.

So finally I received a response after my review on this site, I would receive a full refund for my purchase that was done 2 1/2 months ago. No response from my offsite emails or phone calls, so I’m wondering when I’ll receive my refund??? Still thinking the company is bad news and will continue to pursue until I receive what’s rightfully mine, whether it includes my attorney is still in the air.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought a hand held vacume from Pools inc. There was NO communication at all. It just showed up about a week late. I called and called to get a return authorization. Finally got one, sent back unopened and was told that I would get a credit immediately. That was 50 days ago. Had to call credit card company to have them remove. Have had 17 email exchanges and several phone calls. Cannot get my $160 refund. I was promised repeatedly by Deb and Sean. I will be filing with BBB and state Attorney General.

I ordered above ground steps for $299.00 The website (poolsinc.com) says 3 to 8 days for arrival. Terrible communication A 20% restocking fee on anything you order if cancelled, even if it never ships. Use Covid 19 as an excuse for not shipping, then why does the website say 3-8 day arrival time ( misleading to everyone that places an order expecting to have an item in 3-8 days??) Company keeps telling me different time lines for shipping. It stated on their website a 3-8 day arrival time, that turned into 2 weeks, then weeks, then I get a runaround of their supplier my be backed up. They will take your money as soon as you order and never ship the item but will charge you a 20% "restocking" fee if you cancel your order. They have 3 different business names Poolsinc, Pools Ect and Recreation Discount Wholesale Inc. All of them have very bad reviews and have an F rating with the BBB Using Covid-19 as an excuse is despicable. If that was truly the case then you would update it on your website and contact your customers that have orders in.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Ordered a pump on May 9 which was delivered promptly. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong one. Called multiple times trying to get a return authorization. Finally was able to ship the pump back to the supplier on 5/20. The return was received by the supplier on 5/22. It’s now over two months later and still no refund. Emailed multiple times requesting information on refund; called and talked to Debbie twice. In the most recent call (7/23) Debbie again acknowledged that they had received the refund from the supplier and that Sean was supposed to take care of generating my refund. Debbie said she’d give him the information and I could expect him to promptly issue my refund. I’m still waiting. There’s no excuse for such poor customer service.

Do not order from this company. We ordered a pool May 7. They sent us the wrong pool. We did not know until it was installed and the upright supports did not fit. We have not been able to get an answer when this issues will be fixed. All we need are the new uprights and a new liner. The communication is horrible. We just received the filter today which was on back order due to the virus, but we still can’t use our pool because of their screw up. I am beyond upset. We are at the point where they can come get their pool and reimburse us because who knows if we will be able to use the pool this summer.

Ordered in May. Keep asking for updates but not receiving a response. Going to initiate refund request and file complaints with the BBB and consumer protection if responses aren’t forthcoming. I know production times are longer with COVID, but I would advise you use another company. This one has terrible customer service and doesn’t deliver on their promises. UPDATE: when I wrote them on 6/24 to ask for a specific update on my order (Instead of a generic email with an article from the NYT about the increased demand for pools-duh), they shamed me for asking and canceled my order (see their response below for an example). They said I would receive a refund in 5-10 business days and I still haven’t (it’s July 12). I’m having to file a claim with my credit card company.

Ordered in April. $900 Still no word from this company. But they took my money and will not answer thier phones . No pool was delivered . I have a useless order number and missing money...SCAM or just bad costumer service???
