Wow - what a great experience! We decided upon a guided tour so we could experience the PCC with someone who knew the center, and could also provide us with a luau experience. We were not disappointed. Our tour guide, Tinn, was just wonderful. She took us around every Polynesian village (the "villages" are specifically designed for each Polynesian culture - for example, the Samoa Village or the Hawaii Village), provided informative narrative about each culture, and involved our group (there were 9 of us) with activities such as native games. It was a warm day but Tinn made certain we stopped frequently for water and rest breaks along the tour. The tour was informative, super fun, and the performers were just great. The luau was nice also with entertainment and tasty food. The Hā: Breath of Life show was excellent as well - the performers are remarkable. All-in-all - a super fun day and highly recommended!

We spent an entire day at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Since we got there before the village shows began, we stopped for lunch at Pounders – we had delicious hamburgers. We spent time in each of the 6 villages – our favorite show was the one at the Fiji village, but they were all enjoyable. We had dinner at the Gateway Buffet which was pretty good for a buffet. After dinner, we enjoyed the Tram tour to the Laie & Temple Visitors Center. The highlight of our day was the "Ha: Breath of Life" evening show. This stunning evening show featured over 100 Polynesian native performers, many were BYU students. The show told the story of Mana, a young Polynesian boy, and his growth from a baby into a man over the years as he visits the different island cultures of Polynesia. It really was an incredible show. At the end, the fire dancers were especially impressive – when they got close to us, we could feel the heat. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at PCC.
